JEE Advanced exam conducted by IIT Madras. Candidates can appear in JEE Advanced two consecutive times. JEE Advanced is held in CBT mode and there are 2 papers in all. Each paper has 3 sections: Physics, Chemistry and Maths. Candidates have to attempt both papers 1 and 2 to be eligible for admission to the IITs. Recruiters in India do not give value to online BTech courses anymore as they are not recognised by the AICTE and UGC and are considered invalid at present. The clear answer to this question is no. An online BTech degree is considered invalid in India after the strict guidelines of AICTE and UGC because they give a lot of value to practical training and classroom learning, which is not possible in the online mode of learning. Yes, Gauhati University provides a four-year BTech programme across four specialisations through Gauhati University Institute of Science and Technology. Divided into eight semesters of six months’ duration, admission to all the BTech courses is subject to a valid score in the Assam CEE entrance exam or JEE Main. Furthermore, students also have an option to secure lateral entry admission directly to the second year or third semester of the BTech course. Admission to BTech Lateral Entry courses is subject to a valid score in JLEE Assam exam.
