Its the top most college in our country.

Placements: About 70% of students got placed in NITK for industrial biotechnology. The maximum package was 15 LPA without minors. Taking shorter courses will increase the average package. The average package was around 7 LPA, and the minimum was 5.5 LPA. One of the top recruiting firms was . Students got internship opportunities and pre placement offers before reaching the final year. A 7 CGPA was the minimum requirement to sit for the campus placement interview.

Infrastructure: NITK had a sprawling 295.35 acre campus that offers a wide range of facilities and infrastructure to meet the needs of students, faculty, and staff. We have a marvelous classroom with a great seating capacity. The institute has state of the art laboratories for the various engineering disciplines, equipped with modern machinery and equipment.

Faculty: The faculty members of NITK were outstanding and extraordinary. They were outstanding in their field, with many journals and famous research activities. The course was designed in such a way that when students appear for an interview with a company, they can easily qualify. Semester exams were not that difficult if one was studying on the first day of the semester itself. Because the syllabus was planned to be technical,.

Other: By choosing this course, you have the opportunity to explore too many fields at the industrial level. The course had too much demand in industries. From crowds to festivals, everything is greatly organised.

Review of NITK Surathkal - National Institute of Technology.

Placements: Top recruiting companies visited our campus. Biotechnology did not get many job offers, but other departments had opportunities to apply for placements. Most students could apply for jobs in the seventh semester. Students who knew the company they were interested in could get placed.

Infrastructure: There were six boys' hostels and four girls' hostels. Wi-Fi was available 24X7. The quality of food in the hostel was excellent. Single and double occupancy rooms were available. The hostel followed discipline excellently. No one was allowed to get outside the campus without permission.

Faculty: Our faculty members were very experienced. The faculty-to-student ratio was 1:60 for theory classes and 1:10 for practical sessions. Three internal exams were conducted. After five weeks of regular classes, it was repeated after five weeks. The college fee was Rs.104560 per year.

Placements: Our institute receives high value salaries every year and among them the M.Tech programme plays an important part. For my batch the highest offered package was INR 40LPA with companies like Wipro, IBM, Tata Group, Axis Bank and Federal bank being highly famous recurters of the placements drive. I was fortunate enough to get a highly productive job package from NIT which I am really enjoying being a part of.

Infrastructure: The hostels of NIT are quite good. In the first year, each room is given in a twin sharing basis, I. e, two students in each room. In the second year, every student has his/her individual room. The room facilities are quite good. There is a provision of a proper cupboard for storing your clothes and other items that you would be bringing. Everyone has a study table beside the B.Ed. Which also has a connection to LAN.

Faculty: M.Tech industrial engineering & management is a 2 year programme which is a great combination to learn more efficient about industrial management. Being associated with an IIT & having recognition from AIMA business. Standard also it gets totally clear what kind of education one can get here. The faculty team here had really high quality teachers and they made sure we had the best experience.

It is a premium institute and is among the top 3 NITs.

Placements: Placements for M.Tech and M.Tech (research) students are fair in case of the mechanical engineering department. Branches like the design, thermal, manufacturing, mechatronics have 50% industrial placement on an average. Also, there are opportunities for internship and industrial projects.

Infrastructure: The institute is having a sprawling campus of 300 acres. Basic facilities like Wi-Fi, LAN, hostels, canteens and mess are available. Health care centre is present on the campus. Also, excellent sports facilities are present. Basketball court, volleyball court, tennis courts, swimming pool, indoor badminton and table tennis court are available. Also, a bigger sports complex will be inaugurated shortly. Mega hostel rooms are very good, and others are average. Library facilities are excellent. NITK has a private beach.

Faculty: The faculty of NITK are highly qualified. Most professors are PhD holders from IITs and foreign universities. Heavy research is being carried out in various departments. The curriculum is on par with industrial requirements and is updated periodically. Semester pattern is present for all courses.
