Indian Coast Guard Navik qualification for DB is that candidates must have passed Class 10th. The age for the exam is given by the examination authority. Recruitment is carried out as per the selection process.
Indian Coast Guard Navik age limit for DB is 18-22 years (5 Years relaxation for SC/ST, if the posts are reserved for them and 3 Years for OBC, if the posts are reserved for them). Candidates falling under the age limit can apply for the exam.
Indian Coast Guard age limit for Navik General Duty is 18 to 22 years. 5 years relaxation is given to SC/ST candidates, if the posts are reserved for them and 3 Years for OBC, if the posts are reserved for them. EWS candidates will not get any age relaxation. Even if there is no vacancy reserved for SC / ST / OBC (Non - Creamy) / EWS category candidates, such candidates can still apply. However, they will not be eligible for any age and passing marks concession / relaxation etc. SC / ST candidates are exempt from payment of application fee even in such case.
The exam pattern for the Physical Efficiency Test for Navik GD is mentioned below:
- 1.6 Km run to be completed in 7 minutes.
- 20 Squat ups (Uthak Baithak).
- 10 pushups.
All the tests of PFTs are to be carried out in continuity without any break. Otherwise, it will lead to failing the PFT.
Candidates for Indian Goard Guard Navik recruitment is Class 12 pass. Candidates must have Maths aand Physics. The selection process comprises several stages. Recruitment is carried out as per the selection process.
The selection of candidate is based on an all India order of merit based on their performance in Stage-I, II, III & IV and meeting the laid down medical standards during medical examination and the number of vacancies available for the post. Clearing of Stage-I, II, III, IV and satisfactory performance in training is compulsory for recruitment in ICG. All candidates will be compulsorily subjected to identity check prior commencement of the examination of Stage- I, II, III of CGEPT.
