The selection of candidates is based on all India order of merit on their performance in Stage I, II, III, and IV and the number of vacancies available for the post. Indian Coast Guard notification 2026 for 01/2026 and 02/2026 batch was released online. It was released in PDF form. The notification comprises the details related to the exam. Candidates must read the ICG notification before applying.
Indian Coast Guard Navik and Yantrik application form 2026 was released online on June 11. The last date to fill the application form was June 25, 2025. Candidates can apply for only one post. Fee can be paid online.
Indian Coast Guard age limit for Navik General Duty is 18 to 22 years. 5 years relaxation is given to SC/ST candidates, if the posts are reserved for them and 3 Years for OBC, if the posts are reserved for them. EWS candidates will not get any age relaxation. Even if there is no vacancy reserved for SC / ST / OBC (Non - Creamy) / EWS category candidates, such candidates can still apply. However, they will not be eligible for any age and passing marks concession / relaxation etc. SC / ST candidates are exempt from payment of application fee even in such case.
