Candidates should follow the guidelines given below while appearing for the exam:

• Reach the exam centres well in advance. Candidates have to get their documents verified before the commencement of exam
• Bring all the documents in original along with photocopy, also carry photographs in prescribed size and format
• Use of mobile phone and any other modern electronic devices are strictly prohibited inside exam centres. Possession of such things will be considered adopting unfair means Candidature of those candidates will be cancelled
• Candidates have to go through frisking before entering exam venue
• No request regarding change in exam centres will be accepted by ICG

Check below the instructions required to be followed while appearing for final medicals at INS Chilka:

• Candidates have to submit a negative RT-PCR laboratory report of COVID-19 from Govt/ ICMR accredited laboratory
• Candidates have to submit a self-declaration certificate mentioning exposure, travel information and declare that he does not have any symptoms of respiratory illness at the time of reporting and are not under any medication
• Installing Aarogya Setu app is mandatory for candidates
• Scrutiny of documents will be done after COVID-19 screening. After that candidates have to go through a 14 days quarantine protocol
• All COVID-19 preventive measures like wearing face masks, frequent hand wash, and maintain social distancing to be followed during the quarantine period. Candidates are asked to bring 15 masks with them for the quarantine period. Wearing a mask is mandatory at all times during quarantine.

Candidates need to carry a set of documents on the day of exam, all the documents will be scrutinized before the commencement of the examination. Documents will be returned to the candidates after verification is done. Find the list of documents needs to carry on the exam day below:

• Class 10 pass certificate along with mark sheet in original
• Class 12 pass certificate along with mark sheet in original
• Certificates, along with all semesters/years, mark sheets of BE/B Tech/Graduation in original
• Three copies of computer-generated pre-filled online e-admit card
• Original caste certificate (SC & ST)
• Character certificate (not more than six months old)
• Valid government id proof such as passport, driving license, Aadhaar card/ Voter I-Card, Pan Card, School/ College ID-Card, or any other photo identity proof.
• Recent colour passport size photos which are not older than three months (12 copies)
• There should not be any difference between permanent address and domicile certificate, both are to be the same

Few important points related to Indian Coast Guard admit card are given below:

• Candidates should carry three hard copies of E-admit card. E-admit cards have to be pre-filled and candidates have to attach photographs to them
• Read the guidelines given in the Indian Coast Guard Navik (GD and DB) Admit Card carefully. Bring all the documents mentioned on the admit card
• Locate the Indian Coast Guard Navik (GD and DB) exam centre day before the exam to avoid any hassle on the exam day
• Carry ballpoint Pen (Blue or Black) for self-use
• Don’t carry any such things which are prohibited inside exam centres
