SBI PO 2025: The State Bank of India (SBI) announced SBI PO final result on December 19. SBI PO mains and final cut off was released.The psychometric test was conducted on November 19. The Group Exercises & Interview was held from November 24 to 30.
SBI PO apply online window closed on July 14, 2025. The registration form of SBI PO was made available on June 24, 2025. SBI PO recruitment was conducted for a total of 541 vacancies.
SBI PO prelims cut off is released to shortlist candidates for the Mains exam. The prelims cut off is calculated out of 100 marks. The prelims exam comprises questions from three sections-English, Quant and Reasoning. The prelims cut off is not taken into consideration for the final merit list. There is no sectional cut off in SBI PO prelims exam. SBI PO 2022 previous year prelims cut off is given below.

It is not necessary to secure 60 per cent in graduation inorder to be eligible for SBI PO exam. For the SBI PO eligibility percentage, candidates with less than 60% in their graduation are also eligible to take the SBI PO exam. The State Bank of India prescribes no minimum percentage in Graduation for the SBI Probationary Officer (PO) exam. Candidates must be graduates of any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government. Those who are in the final year/semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination.
The starting SBI PO salary is INR 48,480 (Plus four advance increments). SBI PO payscale is INR48480-2000/7-62480-2340/2-67160-2680/7-85920.

SBI PO application form was released online on June 24, 2025. The last date to fill the application form is July 14, 2025. The application fees are INR 750 for General/OBC candidates. The SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from fee payment.

SBI PO admit card for the mains exam was available online. Candidates can download their admit cards by logging with the required credentials. Candidates need to carry the printed copy of their SBI PO admit card along with one photo-identity proof to the exam centre.

SBI PO 2025 Exam Pattern
SBI PO paper pattern is such that it is divided into three phases. Phase 1 is the prelims exam, phase 2 is the mains exam, and phase 3 comprises psychometric test, group exercises and interview. The details regarding the SBI PO exam pattern are provided below:
The prelims exam of SBI PO comprises 100 objective-type questions from three subjects- English, Reasoning and Quant.
Mains Exam: The mains exam of SBI PO comprises both objective and descriptive-type questions. The total marks allotted the test are 250 marks.
Psychometric Test, Group Exercises & Interview
Psychometric test is conducted before Group Exercises and Interview. No marks are allotted for the psychometric test and it is qualifying in nature. The total marks allotted to interview are 50. The interview carries 30 marks while group exercises comprise 20 marks.
Negative Marking: For the correct answers, candidates score one mark while 0.25 marks are deducted for wrong answers.

At present, the starting basic SBI PO salary is INR 48,480 (with 4 advance increments). SBI PO pay scale is INR 48480-2000/7-62480-2340/2-67160-2680/7-85920 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I. The post is of Junior Management Grade Scale-I. The official will also be eligible for DA, HRA/Lease rental, CCA, Medical, and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time.
