SSC CPO Cut Off 2024: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released the SSC CPO Final cut off marks. The cut off is released category-wise along with SSC CPO result. SSC CPO cut off is the minimum qualifying marks that the candidates need to score to get shortlisted for PET/PST. The cut off marks was made available in PDF form for different categories and posts. The minimum qualifying marks prescribed for SSC CPO for UR is 30 per cent, for OBC/EWS it is 25 per cent and for all the other categories it is 20 per cent. The final cut off is prepared based on Paper 1 and 2. The final cut off is calculated out of 400 marks. Based on the final cut off, candidates are offered a letter of appointment. All shortlisted candidates need to undergo a medical examination and document verification before final posting. The final cut off is announced after document verification.
The normalisation of SSC CPO marks is done since the exam is conducted in multiple shifts in order to take into account any variation in the difficulty levels of question papers across different shifts. Calculation of marks is done up to five decimal places. The normalisation of marks is done by the examination authority inorder to adjust the difficulty level of the question paper. Based on the normalised marks, the result is announced. The commission follows the normalisation process to maintain transparency.

SSC CPO exam pattern is such that it comprises Paper-I, Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Physical Endurance Test (PET), Paper-II, and Detailed Medical Examination (DME). Questions in Paper 1 and 2 are objective types. The Paper 1 exam comprises questions from four sections, while Paper 2 consists of one section. The duration of both papers is two hours.
