
SSC CPO Recruitment 2025: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts SSC CPO recruitment to select eligible candidates for the post of Sub-Inspector (SI) in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). SSC CPO eligibility criteria are certain parameters which candidates need to fulfill inorder to apply for the exam. The eligibility criteria comprises several parameters such as age, nationality and educational qualification. SSC CPO eligibility criteria is given below:
Nationality:
- Other than the Indian nationals, the following candidates can apply
- A subject of Nepal or Bhutan having a certificate in the favour of their category issued by the Indian Government
- Candidates, in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary are admitted to the examination but the offer of appointment is given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to them by the Government of India
Age Limit: The age of candidates should be between 20 and 25 years. Candidates must have been born not before 02.01.1997 and not later than 01.01.2002. Relaxation in the upper age limit of five years is provided to SC/ST candidates and three years to OBC and Ex-Servicemen categories.
Educational Qualification: Any graduate candidate can apply for the SSC CPO exam.
SSC CPO 2025 application form will be released soon. Earlier, it was scheduled to be released on June 16, 2025. However, the process has been delayed. The new application dates will be notified soon. Only online applications will be accepted for the exam. Candidates are not required to send the hard copy of their application forms. The application fees can be paid online.

SSC CPO Application Form 2025
SSC CPO application form will be made available online. Candidates can pay the application fees online till the prescribed deadline. The application fee for the exam are INR 100 for General and OBC candidates. However, SC, ST, women, and ESM candidates are exempted from fee payment. Any graduate candidate between 20 and 25 years can apply for the exam.

You may contact Helpline of the concerned Regional Office through a call or email. It is important to complete the one-time registration process before filling the application form. After one-time registration, the registration ID and password are generated. With the generated registration ID, candidates can fill the application form. The application form comprises several stages which candidates need to complete successfully inorder to apply for the exam. It is also important to upload the photograph and signature as per the dimension provided by the examination authority.
Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor will it be adjusted against any other examination or selection. Candidates must ensure that their online payment has been successfully made to SSC. If the fee is not received by SSC, status of the application form is shown as 'Incomplete' and this information is printed on the top of the printout of online Application Form. Further, status of fee payment can be verified at the 'Payment Status' link provided in the candidate's login screen. Such applications which remain incomplete due to non-receipt of fee will be rejected.
Fee can be paid only through online payment modes, namely BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or by using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, or RuPay Credit or Debit card. Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.
Check size and format of photograph and signature files. Scanned colour passport size photograph should be in JPEG format and file size of the photograph should be in the range of 20 KB to 50 KB. Image dimension of the photograph should be about 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height). Similarly, scanned signature file should be in JPEG format having file size ranging from 10 KB to 20 KB. Image dimension of the signature should be about 4.0 cm (width) x 3.0 cm (height). The image of the signature should occupy at least 75% of the frame. The size of the photograph and signature should be as per the dimensions given by candidates.
