TNPSC Group 4 Exam Pattern 2026
The exam pattern 2026 will be notified in the notification. The Commission will release the TNPSC Group 4 notification on October 6, 2026. There will be one paper only which decides the selection go the candidate. So the candidates need to perform well on the day of the exam. There will be no second chance and the candidates will have to wait for one year to appear again. After securing the qualifying marks there will be TNPSC Group 4 cutoff marks. The candidates need to score equal to or more than the cut-off to ensure their selection in the exam.
The TNPSC Group 4 paper has 200 questions and the duration of the exam is three hours. The minimum qualifying mark is 90 for all the categories. The latest pattern of the exam is as follows:

Both the papers will have the same questions of General Studies (75 questions), and the Aptitude and Mental Ability Test(25 questions). But the Type 1 paper will have 100 questions in General English and the Type 2 paper will have 100 questions in General Tamil.
The candidates can choose any one of the above papers and appear accordingly. The questions of the common subjects will be the same in both papers. After the examination, the TNPSC Group 4 answer key will be released by the commission and the candidates can check their answers and also raise objections in case of any discrepancy in the answer key.
