NCHMCT JEE 2026 Eligibility: Qualifying Examinations
Before you fill the NCHMCT JEE 2026 application form, you should first check eligibility criteria for qualifying exams. You can apply only if you passed or appearing in Class 12 or equivalent exam. Many boards and exam types are allowed, so you don’t need to worry much. But you must see your exam is accepted by authority. If your qualification not matching rules, form may get rejected later, which nobody wants at end time.
Candidates are eligible to apply for NCHMCT JEE 2026 exam if they have cleared any of the below-mentioned qualifying examinations:
- Candidates who have passed the Class 12th examination in the 10+2 system of Senior Secondary education from any recognised Central or State Board, such as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE), or State Boards of Secondary Education, are eligible to apply for NCHM JEE 2026.
- Those who have completed an Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination from a recognised institution are also eligible.
- Other accepted qualifications include:
- General Certificate of Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) Level.
- High School Certificate Examination of Cambridge University.
- Any Public School, Board, or University Examination in India or abroad recognised by the Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE) or the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) as equivalent to the 10+2 system.
- HSC Vocational Examination approved by NCVT and SCVT of the respective state.
- Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) with at least five subjects, including English as one of them.

As per the New Education Policy, there is no age restriction for appearing in NCHM JEE. Candidate of any age who fulfills the other eligibility criteria (as mentioned

Proof accepted for age: The Date of Birth (DoB) as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/Pre-University Certificate of candidates shall be accepted. This certificate needs to be presented by candidates in original at the time of counselling, failing which the candidate will not be considered for counselling/admission.
NCHMCT JEE Eligibility Criteria 2026: Physical Fitness
At the time of admission, all the selected candidates have to submit a physical fitness certificate of carrying out practical claims as required in the course. This certificate must be from a Registered Medical Practitioner.

NCHMCT JEE Eligibility 2026: Reservation of Seats
Candidates falling under the below-mentioned categories are offered reservations for admissions based on NCHMCT JEE rank.
Central Government Institutions
1. 15% of the seats Scheduled Castes (SC) candidates
2. 7.5% seats for Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates
3. 27% seats for Other Backward Classes (OBC) Non-Creamy Layer (NCL)
Candidates as per the Central List
4. 10% of the seats for General Economically Weaker Sections (General- EWS) candidates.
Note: 5% reservations in each category for the candidates with 40% or more disability as defined in Section 2(r) and 2(zc) of Persons with Disabilities (RPwD) Act, 2016.
In case the institutes are run / aided / recognized by State Governments, then the reservation applicable will be as per the rules and regulations of the particular state.
