PUBDET or Presidency University Bachelor's Degree Entrance Test which is conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) is held to shortlist candidates in BA and BSc (honours) courses offered at Presidency University, Kolkata. It is to be mentioned here that PUBDET consists of separate entrance exams that are held to offer admission to students in various science and humanities courses at Presidency University. PUBDET is conducted to provide admission to candidates at the undergraduate level. It is to be noted here that while filling the PUBDET form can apply for a maximum of any two subjects. Yes. Candidates can choose the exam centre the nearest to them. However, candidates are advised that once the application form is submitted, the candidate can not change their exam centre so be careful.The allocation of the PUBDET exam centres was based on the choices gave by the candidate during the online form fill up. However, the centre mentioned will be final and no changes will be made. No request for change of allocated centre will be entertained under normal circumstances.

Nationality: In order to apply for the PUBDET exam, candidates should be Citizen of India.
Age Limit: To apply for the PUBDET age, no upper or lower age limit is there.
Academic Qualification: Apart from the above mentioned criteria, candidates should meet the required academic qualification.
- Candidates must have qualified higher secondary examination (XII) which is held by CBSE, West Bengal or equivalent exam, not before 2020.
- Along with it, candidate should have qualified class 12th with at least five recognized subjects, such as English language and excluding Environmental Science. The aggregate is to be calculated in the best four recognized subjects.
Along with it, in their qualifying exam in Class 12, aspirants must have obtained minimum aggregate score as given below in the table:

If you lose your confirmation page, you can get a duplicate by board. But you have to pay a processing fee of INR 500 by a bank draft in name of “West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board”. You can pay the fees in Kolkata.
