MAH MCA CET application fee for unreserved category candidates is INR 1200, while for reserved category candidates, the application fee is INR 1000.  INR 1000 is for SC, ST, VJ/DT-NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC, EWS), Person with Disability (PWD).

Aadhaar Card 

Aadhaar is mandatory for your identity authentication. It is used for-  
  • Verification: Details such as name, gender, and date of birth must match your Class 10th certificate.
  • Mobile Linking: Your Aadhar ID must be linked to an active mobile number to receive OTPs for authentication.
  • Aadhaar-Based Login: The registration system uses Aadhaar-based authentication through DigiLocker to confirm candidate data. 

APAAR ID 

The Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry (APAAR) ID is a new requirement for the 2026-27 academic sessions of many competitive exams and MAH MCA CET is one of them. Let us understand the APAAR ID-
  • Purpose: It functions as a "One Nation, One Student ID," serving as a digital locker to track your academic credentials, credits, and degrees.
  • Creation: If you do not have one, you must generate it via the DigiLocker or the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) portal.
  • Keep the Information Consistent: The information in your APAAR ID, such as your name and DOB, is auto-populated from Aadhaar and must be consistent across all academic records. 
Important: Aadhar and APAA verification are the first step in the registration process. Your registration cannot move forward without these IDs. Any data mismatch can lead to application rejection or issues

Gather all the below mentioned eductaional documents before registering for the MAH MCA CET 2026-

Class 10 (SSC) Marksheet Age Proof Used to verify your official Date of Birth; the name must exactly match your Aadhaar and APAAR ID.
Class 12 (HSC) Marksheet Academic Continuity

Graduation Marksheets Eligibility Proof

  • The general category needs an aggregate of 50%, while the reserved (Maharashtra only) needs 45%.
Degree / Provisional Certificate Qualification Proof Confirms you have completed a 3-year or 4-year degree from a UGC-recognised university.
Mathematics Proof Subject Eligibility Mandatory proof (via 12th or Degree marksheet) that you studied Mathematics or Statistics at either level.
Bonafide Certificate Appearing Students Required only if you are in your final year in 2026 to prove you are currently enrolled and will graduate before admission.
Aadhaar & APAAR ID Identity Verification New for 2026: These digital IDs are mandatory for registration and for completing the application form.
Important Tips for 2026
  • Ensure your name is spelt the same across all certificates. If there is a change (e.g., after marriage), a Gazette Notification or Marriage Certificate will be required.
  • Use DigiLocker to store and access verified copies of your SSC and HSC marksheets for the Maharashtra Board.
  • If applying under a reserved category, you must have a Caste Validity Certificate; a simple Caste Certificate is often not enough for the final admission

Domicile Certificate Maharashtra State (MS) Candidates Confirms eligibility for 85% state quota seats

What you must do?

  • Ensure your NCL and EWS certificates are VALID till the end of the 2026 admission cycle 
  • The category on these certificates must match your MAH CET 2026 Application exactly
  • If you don't have your Caste Validity certificate, apply immediately at the CCVIS (https://ccvis.barti.in/) so that it is ready for CAP rounds.

Apart from the standard academic and identity proofs, you may need to furnish some extra documents to register for MAH MCA CET 2026. 

Recent Passport-Size Photograph

  • Colour photograph with a clear background
  • Clearly visible face
  • Photograph size: 2-inch x 2 inch (50 mm x 50 mm) 
  • Photograph size: 100 KB - 5 MB 

Signature of the Candidate

  • Upload a scanned image of your signature in JPG/JPEG format
  • The signature must be done in black or blue ink on white paper
  • Signature should be clear
  • No capital letters in signature please
