WBJEE JECA 2026 Exam Centres: Check City-wise Test Centres List, Exam Day Guidelines

The WBJEE JECA test centres will be made available online. Cities where the entrance test will be held can be viewed through the WBJEE JECA test centres. The WBJEE JECA will be held in different centres located across different districts of West Bengal. While making the application, the applicants need to choose their desired test zones for the entrance test.

No. you will not be permitted to request alteration of the allocated exam centre in the WBJEE JECA admit card. No. The authorities will not accept soft copies of the WBJEE JECA admit card at the examination centre. All candidates are expected to bring print outs of the WBJEE JECA hall ticket. Without the hall ticket print out and valid original identity proof, the candidates will not be considered eligible for the WBJEE JECA examination. Since no provision to print out the hall ticket will be provided at the centre, the candidates are advised to bring printouts.

• Candidates are advised to report to the exam centre atleast an hour before the examination commences.

• No electronic items will be allowed inside the exam centre.
• Candidates will be allowed to leave the exam centre only after the paper is over.

No. You should not put your signature or write anything on the WBJEE JECA admit card. If there is any requirement to sign your admit card, you will be notified at the exam centre by the exam officials. If any unnecessary writings are noticed on the admit card, the officials might refuse to accept it, and you will not be permitted inside the centre.

• WBJEE JECA question paper shall be objective types with multiple-choice questions. 

• Four alternatives shall be given in each question, and the candidates shall choose one correct alternative.

• The answer shall be marked by colouring the respective circle/bubble on the OMR sheet using a blue/black ink ball-point pen. 

• All the answers must be marked carefully so that no issues are faced during evaluation.

No, you do not need to prepare for the Aptitude test as per the WBJEE JECA syllabus. The Aptitude and Mathematics section has been removed from the syllabus, and you would only need to study topics from the BCA and similar level courses.

Pattern of Question Papers is as follows -

Before reporting to the WBJEE JECA exam centre, the candidates are advised to check which items are prohibited. Candidates will not be allowed to carry any electronic devices i.e., mobile phones, laptops, tablets, smart watches, calculators, etc., inside the examination centre. No extra pen and paper will be allowed. If the candidates are found with any prohibited item inside the exam centre, then they will not be allowed to continue with the examination.

No. WBJEE JECA will not be conducted in other states. All of the exam centres will be within the West Bengal districts. Candidates shall have to choose three of their desired zones while filling in the application form. Assignment of WBJEE JECA exam centres shall be on the basis of the choice of the desired zones and availability.
