NIMCET counselling 2024 3rd Round Seat Allotment: NIT Jabalpur has released the third round of seat allotment offers for NIMCET 2024 qualified candidates on 18 July 2024. NIT Agartala been the only NIT that has released cutoff for open category seats. Commonly asked questions
The authorities have commenced the NIMCET 2025 counselling process. Candidates who qualify the NIMCET exam and are interested in MCA admission at NITs will have to register for the counselling online at the official website nimcet.admissions.nic.in before the last date. Candidates will have to pay INR 1000 as counselling registration fees. The complete process and schedule of counselling has been released.
Candidates can fill in as many choices in the order of preference as they wish to from the list of available choices.
Candidates are permitted, if they so desire, to change or re-order their choices, delete earlier choices and add new choices any number of times until they lock their final choices. Choices should be positively locked before last date & time failing which last saved choices will be considered for allotment. Choices submitted in the first round of counselling will be processed up to third round.
NIMCET 2024 Counselling: Further Steps after Seat Allotment Offers
- Download the provisional seat allotment letter through the NIMCET counselling portal (Direct link is given above) using registration credentials such as password and registration number, registered mobile number, etc...
- After receiving the seat allotment, the candidate must submit the willingness that the candidate accepts the provisional offer or proceed with other options.
- Once willingness is submitted, candidates will be required to upload the required documents such as photographs, marksheets, etc...
- after uploading the documents, Candidates must pay the seat acceptance fee for confirmation of the seat locking.
- Candidates must download the provisional admission letter and keep it safe for letter references.

Yes. The cutoff (opening and closing ranks) is released after each round of centralised counselling. Typically, there are three primary rounds followed by a special/spot round if seats remain vacant at participating NITs.

No. You must secure a positive score in Mathematics; there is no other way around. If you score 0 or minus (because of negative marking) you automatically get disqualified from ranking, irrespective of your score in other sections.
