Review of Gujarat University.

Placements: In this college, almost every student gets placed. The top recruits according to seniors are Incubit, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and many others will come to college to hire students. Students can try off-campus also.

Infrastructure: In terms of the infrastructure of the building is not good. But this year our department get a new building, which is good. In-room they have an air-conditioner but they did not switch it on. Laboratories are also good. I did not attend the library so I do not know about it.

Faculty: In terms of faculty members, they did not give their best. In beginning, they promised to give their best but they cannot. In terms of the exam, it is divided into three parts i.e sessional 1 i.e 40 marks, sessional 2 i.e 40, and final exam theory is 50 and practical is 50. Exams are difficult in this college.

Other: I would recommend students to go with the course flow and do daily work.

Our college provides professional and peaceful studies.

Placements: Rollwala Computer Centre is Affiliated to Gujarat University, and nearly 80%-90% of the students get placements every year. The salary offered to our seniors ranges from Rs. 25,000 to 90,000 per month and even more. Companies which visit here for placements are TCS, Evosys, Streebo, Infosys and many more. Students were offered jobs mainly based on the programming languages in which they are good.

Infrastructure: In our department, almost all the basic facilities are available, which would be needed by students to learn computer-related things. Those facilities are 2 computer labs, 1 server room and huge classrooms which are more than enough to accommodate more than 80 students easily. There is a canteen here, but the quality of the food served in it is not really much good like we get at other places like Burger King or Domino's pizza. However, here most of the students prefer home-made food, so it is not a big issue for us. Other facilities like sports, medicines and security are very good. There is a police station near the university, which is very convenient.

Faculty: Faculty members here are top-notch, and they are highly qualified and own doctorate in their fields also. They are much helpful regarding any doubts, which is very important for us. Apart from this, the quality of teaching is very good, and all the faculty members have in-depth knowledge of what they teach. All the things, especially the basics taught us, are very helpful in our future placements. So, the syllabus is very good.

Other: I chose this course because I am very passionate about computers, and also I wanted to pursue this course from the beginning of my life. It always amazed me. It is always fun to work with computers and understand how they work and to know how technology is evolving and new computer languages are introducing. The best thing about our course is that almost all the languages which are basic and helpful to learn other advanced things are taught to us. So, it is very good to improve yourselves in basics in the right way. I wish to have more latest and advanced programming languages in my course. I am currently in 2019 batch, and it's fun to experience almost all the activities and games which students would ever want to participate. Those activities include social activities, sports activities, annual functions and many more. Our college also organises technical events where students from all the different colleges are invited to participate. They are awarded prizes according to their winnings. Apart from this, the scholarship is also provided by the government to the needful students. The campus is very close to nature and focuses on creating a natural environment. Hence it is surrounded by many green trees and a peaceful environment.

Review of Gujarat University.

Placements: Mostly highly talented students only get admission as it is based on CMAT Score., Around 99% of the students got placed from college in the previous semester. The salary package offer varies from Rs. 45,000 per month - Rs. 25,000 per month. TCS, EWS and Infosys are some of the top companies that visit our campus for recruitment. A software developer is a role mostly offered to students.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available in our college. Labs are good with many PCs, but there is less number of classrooms in our college as there is a low student strength. The library is available with a wide range of books. We can easily access the computer for practice and book for studying as well. Neither food nor any canteen is available on campus. Even water can't be found easily here.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are not as good as other colleges. They are so rude. But aa far teaching is concern it is at a great level. They are very helpful and are available at any time you need. Suggestions and guidelines for the future are given by faculty members.

Other: I opted this course because I heard that students get a job easily by using this degree. The college needs to change faculty members. The campus is brilliant as it is huge. The environment of the campus is of top-level. I like to stay and study.

Review of Rollwala Computer Center, Gujarat University

Placements: Almost 10 out of 30 are selected for TCS every year, which gives a package of around 3.6 LPA. Other 4 companies also give around 3.2 to 3.5 LPA. Around 17 students got placed in these companies and remaining 17-18 student get around 2 to 2.8 LPA package. The lowest package is around 1.9 LPA. Those students who have a poor programming knowledge and poor communication skills will be getting this package.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not up to the mark of any private college. It is just another government college infrastructure-wise. The Gujarat University NRS lab is available for the students of Rollwala which has around 200 pc(s). Classrooms are very bad, but you will get used to it.

Faculty: Teaching is undoubtedly the best for MCA in Gujarat, and this is the USP of Rollwala Computer Center. The course is little bit outdated but it is much tougher and related to core programming concepts than any other MCA college. Rollwala's student would definitely have very good programming knowledge. The HOD is also very supportive.

Other: The exam pattern is also tougher than your regular MCA college. But all in all its worth the hard work and it will help you to polish your skills. I would definitely suggest you to join Rollwala if you are looking for MCA college in Gujarat. The best part is the fee which is around 3500 per semester.

A very good college but you have to find exposure yourself.

Placements: The placement season started with TCS visiting the campus. Students with a score greater than 60% during their academics were allowed to appear for the placements. As our batch size was about 20 persons only, very few companies visited after TCS. eClinicalWorks was the major recruiter with 6 people getting placed into it, and the highest CTC was offered by TCS.

Infrastructure: Being a government college, the infrastructure was modest. It cannot be categorized as an ultra-modern college with great infrastructure but all the necessary amenities were there. A canteen facility is not available here. However, there are plenty of food stalls outside the college so you can easily hang out there.

Faculty: The college contains a mixture of average and expert facilities. Some of them are too rigid in their pedagogy and insist the students be in the IT industry for a lifetime. At such age, the students should be motivated to do various things apart from a job. This is the biggest disadvantage here.
