WBJEE JECA 2025 Counselling: Check Dates, Registration, Seat Allotment, Admission Process

No, the WBJEE JECA counselling dates are finalised by the exam authorities, and you are not permitted to ask for any changes. Applicants are recommended to go through and abide by the WBJEE JECA counselling dates, as delayed applications will not be made available. The authorities will carry out two sessions of WBJEE JECA counselling.

WBJEE JECA 2025 seat allotment dates have not been announced. Candidates will be able to check their WBJEE JECA seat allotment result online at wbjeeb.nic.in/jeca. No other mode will be used to declare the seat allotment result. Allotment of seats will be done based on the candidate's rank, preferences, category and seat availability. Separate seat allotment results will be declared for the different rounds of WBJEE JECA counselling.

During the WBJEE JECA counselling, the candidates will be allotted seats as per their preferences, ranks, category and seat availability. WBJEE JECA seat allotment result will be announced online. All allotted candidates will be required to pay the WBJEE JECA seat acceptance fee to confirm their seats. The fee of INR 5000 has to be paid by the candidates online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. If the candidates fail to pay the required fee, then they will not be considered and their allotment will be cancelled. 

After the seats are allotted during the WBJEE JECA process, the candidates will have to verify their documents to confirm their admission. Candidates are advised to bring their original documents along with a set of photocopies. All of the mentioned documents have to be verified before the final date, otherwise the allotment will be cancelled. Two rounds of counselling will be conducted by the authorities.

According to the official information brochure, the counselling fee for WBJEE JECA is as follows: 

• General Category students: INR 500. 

• Third Gender/SC/ST/OBCCategory-A/OBC-Category-B/EWS candidates: INR 400

The fee must be paid online, i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. Payment through any other means will not be accepted. If the candidates fail to pay the counselling fee, then their registration will not be considered.

Throughout the counselling process of WBJEE JECA, the candidates will be required to select their college choice. The candidates must choose their colleges in order of preference. All the options must be chosen and locked before the deadline, which will be notified soon. Once submitted, the authorities won't be able to alter the preference order of their choices.

WBJEE JECA cutoff will be prepared and released online at wbjeeb.nic.in/jeca. The authorities are expected to release the WBJEE JECA cutoff after every round of counselling. The opening and closing ranks for admission can be checked through the cutoff of WBJEE JECA. However, meeting the cutoff does not guarantee admission but it will give the candidates higher chances. No other mode will be used to release the WBJEE JECA cutoff.
