The Consortium of NLUs will conduct the CLAT exam 2027on December 6 in offline mode. There are four sections in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). Current Affairs with General Knowledge is one of the sections in the CLAT question paper which the candidates find most difficult.
The CLAT exam is conducted by the Consortium of NLUs to select the candidates for the admission to the integrated LLB courses offered by the participating universities. The CLAT 2027 applications were started on August 3 and the last date to apply for the CLAT in October 31.

CLAT Exam Pattern
The Consortium notifies the CLAT exam pattern on its official website under the syllabus section. There are four sections in the CLAT question paper and the number of questions is different in each section. The total number of questions asked in the CLAT question paper is 120 and all the questions carry 1 mark. The candidates can check the CLAT exam pattern below:

General Knowledge Syllabus for CLAT exam
Candidates find the Current Affairs and General Knowledge section most difficult because of the enormity of their syllabus. As per the new CLAT syllabus, the Consortium ask passage based questions but some of the questions though related to the passage but ask about the context of the passage or any issue behind the passage.

Science and Technological Innovations which are important for the Indian Economy and Society are sometimes asked in the CLAT paper. The candidates must prepare the underlying principle of that innovation. Some examples are Chandrayaan, Gaganyaan and other futuristic missions of India.
