Review the exam pattern and syllabus

It is important to know the exam pattern and syllabus of AMU Entrance Exam 2022 thoroughly. However, besides knowing the type of questions and subjects, candidates should also know that: 

  • The question paper will be available in English and, in the respective language for the Language courses.
  • There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks in case of each wrong attempt. 
  • The OMR sheet needs to be filled correctly as instructed or the option filled incorrectly will be considered as the wrong attempt.

Do strategic revision 

Candidates need to take hold of their preparation by revising everything they have prepared in the last few months. Go through the syllabus of the entrance exam for the respective course and, list out topics by strengths and weaknesses. For stronghold topics, revise and practice to analyse if any improvement is needed. For weak topics, revise only the topics for which basic concepts are well understood as this is not the time to start with clarifying basics. Make a proper timetable for revision and devote at least 6 hours a day for revision only.

A:

Aligarh Muslim University offers a three-year full-time BSc course at the undergraduate level. Apart from the BSc course, the University also offers BSc (Hons) courses. AMU admission to the BSc course is based on candidates' performance in an entrance test conducted by the University. The total seat intake for the AMU BSc course is approximately 1260. Q:   Are there multiple attempts for the AMU B.Tech Entrance Exam like JEE?

The Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) conducts its own engineering entrance exam called the AMUEEE (Aligarh Muslim University Engineering Entrance Exam) for admission into its BTech programme. As per the official information brochure, there is no limit to the number of attempts for the AMUEEE exam. Candidates can appear for the exam as many times as they wish to improve their score and chances of admission. However, it is important to note that candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the university for appearing in the exam, such as age limit, educational qualifications, etc. Before applying for the exam.

Q:   What is the total seat intake for AMU MBA course?
A:

The Aligarh Muslim University provides MBA course on its main campus as well as at AMU Centers in Malappuram, Murshidabad and Kishanganj. Each campus has a seat intake of 60. Improve speed and accuracy

This is an important aspect considering there will be a limited time duration to attempt the examination. Therefore, candidates need to improve their speed of solving the questions as they will require at least 20-30 minutes to fill the OMR sheet. Candidates should practice questions as much as possible in the remaining days to enhance their test-taking skills. Set a time limit for each section of the question paper as well as, for each question. Take the mock tests for at least 1 hour after completing revision every day to achieve the required results. 

Admit card for AMU 2022 entrance exam

Candidates should download their admit card at least three days before the exam date to avoid last-minute inconvenience. AMU entrance exam 2022 admit card is available in online mode only. As the university does not send the admit cards by post. For the candidates appearing for the departmental test, the admit card can be obtained from the concerned department at least two days before the exam date. The admit card of AMU entrance exam contains details such as candidate's name, roll number, application number as well as, exam centre name, code and location besides some instructions for the exam day.

Stay Stressfree 

Exam preparation tends to get stressful and with the current situation, candidates are bound to get anxious. Therefore, candidates should calm themselves by practising yoga, meditation or any stressbuster to help yourself. Any kind of mental exhaustion should be avoided, therefore plan the exam preparation in a way that doesn't create anxiety. Only planned preparation will help in this situation. Q:   What is the minimum eligibility criteria for AMU B.P.Ed admission?
A:

For Aligarh Muslim University B.P.Ed admission, candidates must have passed a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50% and have at least participation in the InterCollege/Inter-Zonal / District / School competition in sports and games as recognised by the AIU/ IOA / SGFI / Govt. of India. Students with a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education with 45% marks or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 45% marks and studied physical education as a compulsory elective subject are also eligible for AMU B.P.Ed admission. 

Q:   What is the minimum eligibility requirement for AMU MBA course?
A:

Aligarh Muslim University offers an MBA (General), MBA in Hospital Administration, MBA in Islamic Banking & Finance and MBA in International Business at the postgraduate level for a duration of two years each. AMU admission to all these courses is completely entrance-based and depends' on candidates' performance in CAT or an online written test, conducted by the University. Candidates seeking admission to any of the above-mentioned AMU MBA courses must have passed graduation in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50%.

To get a seat in the BBA couse at Aligarh Muslim University, candidates need to appear for the AMU entrance exam. In order to get a seat alloted to them, candidates need to score above the cutoff set for BBA course during Aligarh Muslim University course admissions.

Yes, the BBA admissions at AMU are still open for the academic year 2026. Candidates who wish to apply for AMU BBA course must do so before February 28th 2026.

If the candidate's have not received their Class 12 board exam result, they are still capable of completing the BBA admission process.
