The syllabus for the MH CET law exam comprises topics from Legal Aptitude and reasoning, GK and current affairs, Logical and analytical reasoning, English language and basic mathematics. Candidates will have to study about legal principles, reasoning skills, and applying laws to scenarios. The concepts related to national and international events, politics, science, and legal developments will also be asked.
From the reasoning section, pattern and problem solving abilities will be analysed, and questions from geometry, ratios, percentages will be asked.

The State Common Entrance Cell, Maharashtra has released the revised exam pattern of the MH CET Law 2025 for the five-year and 3-year LLB programmes. The exam authority changed the total number of questions to be asked to 120 from 150.
Three year LLB programme entrance exam has Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning, General Knowledge with Current Affairs, Logical and Analytical Reasoning, English. Same subjects for the five-year LLB course as well but with Mathematical Aptitude as well.
