The MHCET Law exam analysis for 5-year LLB exam as well as the 3 Year LLB exam is here. MHCET 5-year LLB exam in the first shift was easy to moderate. Shift 2 exam paper of MH CET LLB was also of an easy to moderate level. MHCET 5-year LLB exam took place in the computer-based test (CBT) format in two shifts on May 8, 2026. The MHCET Law 2026 exam difficulty level for the 5-year LLB course has been shared in this section. Direct questions were mainly asked in all sections. MH CET Law Analysis 2026 (3-year LLB)
The MHCET Law 2026 exam was of an easy-to-moderate difficulty level as per the initial student reaction on Day 1 of 3-year LLB course exam. In the 3-year LLB exam, questions from topics such as Right to Education, Maneka Gandhi Case, Active and passive Grammar, Vocabulary (antonyms and synonyms), Direct and Indirect Speech, Error Spotting, Idioms and Phrases, and Analogies were asked. Candidates also reported that Shift 1 found the paper to be lengthy. The exam held on Day 1 in Shift 2 was relatively easier. A good attempt is 105–115+ marks out of 120 marks to get admission to top colleges.

MH CET Law 2024 Analysis
The MH CET Law 2024 analysis is based on the following criteria,
- Exam difficulty level

The exam for the 3-year LLB course was easy to moderate in terms of the difficulty level. The main emphasis of the question paper was on the General Knowledge and Current Affairs section, which was the easiest among all sections. In GK, most of the questions were based on the static GK topic. For the Current Affairs segment, questions were related to events that took place in 2023. GK questions were based on the awards and recognition, such as the Bharat Ratna Award and the Oscar Award. Olympics-related questions were also asked in this section.
There were 3 questions based on the Coding-Decoding topic and 2 questions based on the Blood Relation topic. Questions were also asked related to the Seating Arrangement topic of reasoning. The English was moderately difficult. The last 10–11 questions were based on the Reading Comprehension section. Almost 50% of the questions that were asked in the exam last year were also asked this year.
In the shift 2, questions were related to spelling error topic in the English section. The Logical and Analytical Reasoning section was easy in this shift. There was no question related to Syllogism in the second shift. Chief Ministers, Governers and Capitals of States were the main topics on which questions were asked in the GK section of the shift 2 exam. The question related to Folk Dance Forms in India were also asked in shift 2.
Basic math questions, such as finding the missing numbers were also there in the question paper. Math-related questions was a surprise for candidates because math subject is not a part of the MH CET Law 3-year LLB syllabus.
Sports-related questions were also asked in slot 2. Approximately, 15 questions were based on passages. In the second shift, questions in the Current Affairs and General Knowledge section were based on Current Affairs.

Getting 70 marks in MHT CET is seen as an average score. It mostly comes around 82 to 86 percentile, depending on which shift you wrote the exam in. With this score, you can still get seats in some good private or mid-level state engineering colleges, but it's tough to get into top ones like COEP or VJTI. It's not really a high score, but it stays above the basic eligibility line and gives you fair options. The reporting time for the MHCET Law exam will be different for both the shifts.
