The MH CET cell will release the MHCET Law Result 2026 on the MAH CET official website, cetcell.mahacet.org. The results will be released soon after the declaration of final answer key. The scores of each candidate will be accessible through the candidate's login. The scorecard will include the important details such as the candidate's name, hall ticket number, category, course opted for, overall scores and rank, scores for each section separately, etc. The direct link to check the MHCET Law 2026 result will be available here. How to Check MH CET 3-year LLB Result?

The result for the MH CET Law exam for 3-year LLB will be released online on the official website of CET Cell Maharashtra, cetcell.mahacet.org. The process to download the MH CET 3-year LLB result 2026 scorecard is described below-

  1. Go to the MH CET Law 2026 website - https://cetcell.mahacet.org/  
  2. You will be redirected to a login window.
  3. Enter your application number and date of birth.
  4. On successful login, the result would be displayed on the screen.
  5. Under Result CET 2026 - Click on the View Score Card tab.

As per the previous year trends, the score above 99 will be considered a good score for both 3-year and 5-year LLB programs. However, the good score depends on many factors such as targetted college, category of the candidate, reservation policy, and the overall performance of the candidate. How to Download the Consolidated MH CET Law Result?

The results will also be available as consolidated merit lists for MH CET Law 2026, containing the names of all candidates who will appear in the exam, their registration number and normalised scores. Moreover, CET Cell will issue Individual MH CET Law 2026 scorecards mentioning ranks, sectional and overall marks to all the qualified candidates. Once the result is out, candidates will have to register for the MH CET Law 2026 counselling. The counselling will be conducted as Centralised Admission Process (CAP).

The MH CET Law merit list is a list of candidates who have been shortlisted for counseling based on their rank in the MH CET Law entrance exam. The merit list is prepared separately for MS (Maharashtra State), OMS (Other State / Outside Maharashtra State) candidates, Jammu & Kashmir Candidates and INR, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS) or All India category candidature type, Foreign Nationals, Non Resident Indians (NRI) / Overseas Indian Citizen (OIC) / Person of Indian Origin (PIO) candidates. Candidates cannot raise objections against the merit list.

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, conducts the examination on multiple shifts. But due to different sets of questions, it is possible that the level of questions is not the same. To nullify this situation, the examination cell uses the Normalization method. This ensures that no candidates are benefited or disadvantaged to the level of exam's difficulty.

MH CET Law 2026 Merit List: Tie-Breaking Method

In a case where candidates secure the same rank or marks, the following method of tie-breaking is applied:

  • Candidates with a higher percentage of marks in Class 12 or equivalent exam are given preference in the merit list
  • Candidates securing higher percentage of marks in the first language in Class 12
  • Candidates with a high percentage of marks in Class 10
  • A higher percentage of marks in English in Class 10 or equivalent exam
