The MHCET Law 2026 5-year LLB exam date is announced. As per the notification, the MHCET Law 2026 exam for 5-year LLB course is scheduled to be conducted tentatively on May 8, 2026. MH CET Law 5-year LLB Latest Updates

The Maharashtra CET Cell conducts the MH CET Law Entrance Exam for 3-year and 5-year LLB courses offered by participating universities. The MH CET LLB 5-year registration process 2026 for 5-year LLB will begin from January 9, 2026. Candidates can fill the MH CET LLB 5-year Application Form 2026 on December 24, 2026. The MH CET 2026 3-year LLB Registration Process began on January 8, 2026. Candidates will be able to apply until January 23, 2026.

The CET Cell released all the important dates related to the MH CET 5-year LLB programmes in the MHCET Law Notification 2026. The exam for both 5-year and 3-year LLB courses will be held in pen-and-paper mode. MHCET Law 5-year LLB exam date 2026 May 8, 2026 (tentative). Candidates who wish to appear for the MHCET Law Exam 2026 must fill the application form on or before the last date. Candidates can complete the MHCET Law 2026 Application Process at cetcell.mahacet.org.

Q:   What documents are needed during MH CET Law application?
A:

Candidates who are aspiring to sit for the MH CET Law 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB programme will have to submit the scanned the latest photograph and signature in the required format during the MHCET Law 2026 application process. However, they may also need to upload the category certificate, residencial proof and date of birth proof (class 10th certificate), etc.

Q:   How to edit MH CET Law 2026 application form?
A:

Candidates will be able to edit details in their MH CET Law 2026 application form using their own Login ID at the official MH CET Law website.

  • Visit the official website - portal.maharashtracet.org
  • Use LoginID and password to login
  • Click on edit MHCET Law application form
  • Do the changes required and save the form after duly checking
Q:   Is MH CET Law 2026 application correction facility available?
A:

Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell will provide the application correction facilityn for the candidates who have already registered for MHCET Law 2026 but submitted a form with ceratin mistakes and erros. Candidates will be given an opportunity to correct or edit the below mentioned details in their already submitted application form:

  • Photograph
  • Signature
  • Gender

Along with this, MH CET Cell is also allowing candidates to complete the application form and pay the MH CET Law Registration Fee within this time who were unable to do it earlier.

  • A new webpage will be opened.
  • Login using your application number, date of birth and password generated during registration.

How to Download the MH CET Law 2026 Answer Key?

The MHCET Law answer key for 3-year LLB and 5-Year LLB courses will be available to download on the official portal. The preliminary answer key will be published at first and candidates will be able to raise objections to the preliminary answer key during the objection window. Thereafter, the final answer key will be released.

  • OR, Click on ‘CET Examination Portal AY 2026-27’, a new page will open
  • Fill in your registration number and password
  • Click on Scorecard tab, download the PDF

How to Download the MH CET Law 5-year LLB Merit List?

 Follow the process given below to access the MH CET Law 2026 Round 1 merit list for the 5-year LLB course: 

  • Go to the MAH CET official website 
  • Click on the "Admission A.Y 2026-27" tab. 
  • Click on the "LLB. 5-Years" tab. 
  • Click on the merit list link for your respective category and save it as a PDF.

What After MH CET Law 5-year LLB 2026 Counselling Registration?

Candidates who will successfully register for the CAP Round for Law CET Maharashtra will then be invited to participate in the MH CET LLB 5-year Counselling Process. The MAH CET Law examination cell will release the alphabetical and final merit list after each round. In the process, candidates will have an option to ‘Float’ or ‘Freeze’. Once the candidate freezes the college for admission, they will have to get their documents verified and confirm the seat by paying the admission fee.

MH CET 5-year LLB 2026 Counselling Process

MH CET Law 2026 CAP process includes counselling registration by candidates, document verification, choice-locking, seat allocation, and confirmation of admission by the candidates. Once the CAP process completes, the CET Cell Maharashtra will releases provisional merit lists for MH CET 5-year LLB program. The MH CET Law seat allotment is done once the merit list is published.  

During the counselling process, candidates before accepting their seats have the option to ‘Freeze’ or ‘Float’ their choices.

  • Float option- If candidates are not satisfied with the allotted colleges, they can choose the ‘Float’ option. Candidates exercising this option are eligible for appearing in the subsequent counselling rounds. In case they are not offered seats, they can choose the previously allotted college.  
  • Freeze option- Candidates can exercise ‘Freeze’ option to confirm their allotment and if they do not want to participate in the further counselling rounds. They will accept the allotted college and pay the admission fee. Such candidates will not be considered for further counselling rounds.

No, you have to carry a print out of the admit card on the exam day. There is no provision to show the hall ticket through any electronic devices on exam day.

Candidates who have not appeared in MHT CET Law exam can not participate in the counselling. It is mandatory to not only appear for the test but also to clear the same. Candidates must get minimum cutoff to get the admission in choice of their college.
