Application Form for AMU Admissions 2020

The Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) had started the application form of AMU Entrance Exam 2020 for admissions to Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses. The candidates seeking admissions through AMUEE 2020 have to fill and submit the application form before the last date of application. AMU has extended the last date of application till March 7, 2020, with late fee Rs 300. The application forms were available from January 15 for all courses and the last date of application for all the courses is as under:

Steps to fill AMU Application Form

The entire process of AMU entrance exam application is online only and, candidates can watch the video below to check steps to fill the application form as under:

Step 1: New user registration - Candidates have to visit the official website of AMU or apply here

Click on the Application forms for Centralized Admission Test 2020-21 to visit the admission window. On this window, the application form will appear on the screen as under:

Candidates have to click on this, and the application form will open up in a new window with the registration form as under:

Candidates have to click on 'Register (For New User) and the form will open up and candidates have to fill details like selecting a username as per availability, setting up a password, a valid email ID, and enter the captcha security code as under:

After this, a message will be displayed on the screen as registration successful and the page will be redirected to the login page. Candidates have to enter the login details i.e. registration ID/ username and password to fill the application form of AMU Entrance Exam 2020. 

Step 2: Fill up the form - After login, the applicant dashboard will appear on the screen with steps that need to be completed and, the frequently asked questions. Candidates have to apply for AMU 2020 as under:

Candidates have to fill the application form by clicking on 'Step 1 Profile' and some of the details will appear auto-filled in the form as under:

Candidates have to fill the unfilled boxes such as date of birth, gender, mobile number, alternate email id and correspondence address. After this, candidates have to click on 'Submit & Review' button at the bottom of the page and the next step of the application process i.e. filling academic details will appear on the screen as under:

Step 3: Uploading documents - After this, candidates will be redirected to a new page as under:

 In this step, candidates have to upload documents such as a photograph, signature and Thumb Impression as per the specifications provided above. After uploading the documents, candidates will proceed to the fourth step of filling AMU application form i.e. selecting the reserved category as under:

And if any category is selected then candidates also need to upload the supporting documents as issued by the competent authority as under: 
AMU caste category

In the next step, candidates have to select the course, qualifying exam details, as well as select the test centre location as under:

After this, candidates will see the filled in the application form of AMUEE 2020 on their screen and they can cross-check the details on it.

Step 4: Fee payment and application submission - Next, the candidates have to proceed for fee payment on their dashboard. In this step, and the payment window will open up as under:

After clicking on 'Pay Now' the payment gateway will open as under:

The payment can be done using cards or net banking methods. If selecting cards, candidates have to use Debit Card or Credit Card as mentioned on the screen (image) above. The total payment that candidates need to make is based on courses they have applied for and, the amount will also appear on the top right corner of the payment window. The final payment screen appears as under: 
And on clicking 'Submit' the screen, an OTP request will be received on the mobile number linked with the card. Candidates have to enter this OTP and the payment process will be complete. 
After this, candidates will get pdf file of the complete application form on the screen. Candidates can download the pdf file and get printouts of the submitted application form for future references.

  • Download the merit list PDF of your respective course.

In case you have forgotten your AMU Log in ID and password, which is pretty much normal. You can click on the forgot password tab in the registration window. You will receive the mail, and then you have to reset your password.
