Commonly asked questions
No, candidates need not fill multiple SNAP application forms if they want to apply to multiple Symbiosis institutes. The SNAP application form will have a field in which the candidates can select their preferred institutes and pay INR 1,000 per institute. Candidates must make sure that they make college selection wisely as the SNAP application form in not editable after submission and the fee amount is non-refundable. Also, if you haven’t selected the preferred colleges in the SNAP form, you will not be shortlisted for admission even if you meet the cut off.
Thus, it is very important for you to select SIU colleges option in the SNAP application form wisely. The college selection should be final before SNAP form submission.
Correction in the already submitted application form is not allowed in SNAP as it doesn't have form correction provision like other MBA entrance exams. Candidates can edit their form only till the time it is not submitted and the fee is not paid. Until the form is saved in the student dashboard, you can edit it. Once the fee payment is done, your SNAP application will be locked for examination agency’s verification.
Thus, candidates must preview the SNAP application form at least once before submitting it. If they make a mistake in the form, they will have to fill a fresh form before the deadline and if they miss the deadline and the application window is closed, they will not be able to appear for the exam.
No, you don’t need to fill separate forms for separate exam sessions of SNAP. The SNAP registration cum application form has a field, where you can mention the number of attempts you wish to take. It will be recorded and you will be issued separate admit cards for each of your attempt. However, for each SNAP attempt, you will have to pay INR 2250 as exam fees. So, be very careful in deciding the number of attempts as the SNAP exam fee is non-refundable.
The SNAP exam is held in a gap of one week, so when you take the first attempt you get an idea of your preparation and performance. So you can prepare accordingly and take the next two attempts to improve your score. However, our advice will be to first take a decision on the number of exam sessions, then fill the SNAP application form.
