There is no passing mark in SNAP. Candidates scoring more than 0 in the exam are eligible for WAT-PI round of SIU institutes. However, shortlisting of candidates are based on SNAP cut offs, which are between 50 to 99 percentile across the 16 SIU institutes. For example, SIBM Pune cut off for PI shortlisting in 98+ percentile, while SSSS Pune cut off is 55 percentile.

If a candidate does not attend it, they are disqualified from admission.

Does SIU accept any other exam score than SNAP?

SIU does not accept any exam score other than SNAP for MBA admission. All domestic students, must appear for the SNAP exam if they wish to pursue MBA from SIBM or any of the 16 Symbiosis institutes. The SNAP exam is conducted in December. There are three sessions and questions are asked from- English, Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude. The SNAP exam is of low difficulty level but requires practice for scoring high to meet the admission cut off.

What is the MBA selection criteria through SNAP?

Scores of every section will be taken into consideration for shortlisting of candidates along with their academic record. Thus, candidates must ensure that they perform well enough in each section of the SNAP exam.

When will SNAP 2025 cut off be announced?

The date of SNAP cut off announcement is never communicated by the Symbiosis International (Deemed) University, as the selection process is conducted by the constituent institutes individually. However, it has been seen over the years that the SNAP cut off are released about a week after exam result declaration. The SNAP cut offs are available through login at the websites of SIU institutes as candidates who pass the SNAP exam, have to fill the personal interview form based on their score and college cut off. The SNAP cut off usually ranges between 55-98 percentile. The cut offs for SIMB Pune is the highest every year and the cut offs for SIHS Pune is the lowest.

There is a field in the SNAP application form where candidates have to mention their choice of SIU colleges and MBA courses they wish to pursue. They need to pay INR 1000 per college selection. There will be no institute specific application form released later. Candidates will have to use the SNAP application ID to fill the admission shortlist forms of the constituent institutes. If a candidate fails to mention a college in their SNAP application form, they will not be shortlisted for WAT-GE-PI of that SIU institute.

SNAP 2025 cut offs for SIBM, SIIB and SCMHRD are in the range of 95 to 98 percentile. The cut off percentiles of other SIU institutes are expected to be between 70 to 95 percentile. The cut offs for SNAP 2025 have been released online at the institute websites alongwith the PI shortlists. The GE-PI round for MBA admission is being conducted in February and March. Candidates have been selected basis SNAP cut offs 2025.
