SNAP test centres are designated venues where the exam is conducted for registered candidates. The centres are equipped with computer systems and related facilities for every candidate to take the test. The list of test cities for SNAP exam 2025 had been released with the SNAP 2025 registration form. Candidates could select 3 test cities of their choice at the time of filling the SNAP 2025 application form. The examination authority will allot a test centre for SNAP 2025 exam in the city of first preference. Read below all about SNAP test cities and centres.

Q:   Can I change my exam centre after the SNAP admit card has been issued?
A:

There is no provision to change the exam centre once the SNAP application form has been submitted. Candidates have to appear for the test only at that exam centre which is mentioned on the SNAP admit card. Therefore, to ensure that you don’t get a faraway exam centre, select the test cities in the SNAP application form carefully. Select your home city or current city as the first preference as the examination authorities strive to allotted exam centres to candidates in the first city of choice.

In order to avoid any inconvenience on the exam day, candidates must check the location of the SNAP exam centre mentioned in their admit card at least a day before the exam. Knowing the distance and mode of transport will help candidates make the travel plan on the exam day in such a way that they reach the test centre on time.

Q:   Is SNAP exam conducted in multiple slots?
A:

No, SNAP exam is conducted in only one slot but on three days. In 2025, the exam will be conducted on three days and the candidates can attempt the exam in all three sessions. Separate admit card will be released for every SNAP session. Multiple sessions are conducted for SNAP to provide an opportunity to candidates to improve their scores. If the first session turns out to be difficult for a candidate, they can study more and take the second exam to improve the score. The best scores of all the sessions taken by the candidate is taken into consideration for SIU MBA admission, thus candidates need not worry about whether their second/third attempt will better than first or not.

Q:   When will SNAP 2025 exam be conducted?
A:

SNAP 2025 exam dates were December 6, 14 and 20, 2025. Candidates had the option to appear for 1, 2 or all 3 sessions. Scores of the best attempt will be taken into consideration for GE-PI shortlisting and admission.

Commonly asked questions
Q:   How many cities can an applicant choose in SNAP for test centre allotment?
A:

An applicant can select up to three cities for allotment of test centre in the SNAP application form. The exam authorities will allot the exam centre to candidates in their preferred city. In case, seats are not available in the first preferred city, it will be notified in the form and candidates can select another city. Candidates must select their home city or city of current residence as first preference.

SNAP is conducted in about 84 cities across India. The latest list of SNAP cities has been released along with the SNAP registration form. Every city will have at least one SNAP exam centre to accommodate a minimum of 50 test takers. You can select only one city per exam session. For example, if you want to appear for SNAP exam only once, then you can select only one city.

Q:   Can I make corrections in my SNAP form after submission?
A:

Correction in the already submitted application form is not allowed in SNAP as it doesn't have form correction provision like other MBA entrance exams. Candidates can edit their form only till the time it is not submitted and the fee is not paid. Until the form is saved in the student dashboard, you can edit it. Once the fee payment is done, your SNAP application will be locked for examination agency’s verification.

Thus, candidates must preview the SNAP application form at least once before submitting it. If they make a mistake in the form, they will have to fill a fresh form before the deadline and if they miss the deadline and the application window is closed, they will not be able to appear for the exam.

SNAP candidates are not required to apply separately for all SIU campuses. They can select colleges in the SNAP application form. However, they need to fill the PI-shortlist form separately for whichever colleges they get shortlisted.

According to the latest SNAP exam pattern the paper will be divided into three sections. Every question will carry 1 mark and there is negative marking of 0.25.

Between SNAP and NMAT, the former is considered easier in terms of difficulty level of the questions. However, SNAP is of 60 minutes in which candidates have to address 60 question. This makes SNAP more challenging than NMAT which is a test of longer duration (2 hours having 108 questions).

Usually it is recommended that Arun Sharma series (Verbal, Quant, DI), R.S. Aggarwal's Reasoning/Quant books, and Word Power Made Easy, are enough for SNAP preparation. Sample questions papers, mock tests, sectional test series are also important.

Two months may not be enough to prepare for SNAP exam, if you are attempting it for the first time. However, you can try with a very specific and focussed plan. Check SNAP question papers of previous years to know dominant subjects. Study only those thoroughly and practice mock tests side by side.

SNAP syllabus is not difficult as it contains the same topics as other MBA entrance exams. But the key to SNAP preparation lies in practicing SNAP specific questions.
