SNAP 2026 Registration Process

SNAP is conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed) University for admission to the MBA courses offered by its constituent institutes. SNAP 2026 dates have been announced. The exam will be conducted at various exam centres across India in December on three days. There is no passing mark in SNAP. Candidates scoring more than 0 in the exam are eligible for WAT-PI round of SIU institutes. However, shortlisting of candidates are based on SNAP cut offs, which are between 50 to 99 percentile across the 16 SIU institutes. For example, SIBM Pune cut off for PI shortlisting in 98+ percentile, while SSSS Pune cut off is 55 percentile.
You can use the score of session in which you have got highest percentile.
Yes, SNAP can be considered easier than all other MBA entrance exams but one needs to still prepare for it with complete dedication. The SNAP may be considered easier as it is a 60-minute exam and the number of questions is also 60. The English section does not have RC passages and QA-DI are easy. Moreover, one can attempt it thrice in the same academic session and use the best score of all attempts to seek admission.

It is possible but not advisable, as you may not score as desired. It is important to cover the SNAP syllabus too. You can solve questions in mock test correctly only if you understand the topics well.

- Forr every incorrect option 0.25 marks are deducted
- No deduction for unanswered questions

SNAP exam is a computer based test mode. Candidates have to visit the allotted test centre and take the test on a computer system.

Yes, six months are enough to prepare for SNAP exam. Candidates should start preparation by June to be well prepared by December, the exam month.

SNAP has negative marking of 0.25. To avoid negative marking, candidates must not do guess work and do not attempt any question that they feel they can't solve correctly.

No, the question papers of all SNAP sessions are not same. In every exam session, the SNAP question paper has a unique set of 60 questions.

Clearing SNAP exam is not the only requirement for admission to SIU MBA admission. Candidates have to also clear the Group Exercise (GE), Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) for selection.

You can apply for multiple Symbiosis institutes, by selecting preferred colleges in the SNAP application form. Fee per college selection is INR 1000, to be paid along with exam registration fee.
