Yes, aspirants of HITS BTech course need to take part in HITSEEE counselling. The counselling process involves registration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification, fee payment, etc. It generally begins soon after the entrance test result declaration. The seats are allotted during counselling as per the applicants rank secured in the exam.

Hindustan College of Engineering, established in 1985 is a private college and is located in Kelambakkam, Chennai. Yes, Hindustan University conducts two entrance exams at the university level, i.e., HITSEEE and HITSCAT for all the UG and PG courses. Hindustan University offers a three-year LLB course as a professional program. This course is approved by the Bar Council through the School of Law. No, the candidates are not allowed to carry electronic gadgets to the HITSCAT exam centre. Candidates carrying such devices can be disqualified and not allowed to sit for the examination. Thus, the candidates appearing for the HITSCAT MBA exam should avoid carrying electronic devices. The complete guidelines shall also be mentioned in the admit card of the entrance exam.

Yes, HITS Chennai offers two-year MBA programmes. The PG-level course is offered across different specialisations, including Aviation Management, Logistics Management, Green Business, etc. Admission to these courses is through Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science Common Aptitude Test (HITSCAT). Candidates need to take the exam and clear it to take admission. The aspirants who meet eligibility criteria can further apply by visiting the official website.

If the candidate doesn’t accept the seat allocated to him or her, the HITSCAT 2025 allotment will be canceled. Also, the seat in that case will be allocated to the candidate next in the order of merit. So, it is the responsibility of the candidate to pay the seat-acceptance fee by the given deadline.

The HITSCAT 2025 scorecard will be valid for the current academic session only. So, using the scorecard, you will be able to get admission in the 2025-25 academic session. You can’t use the scorecard for admission in the next session.
