What's Next After NEET MDS Result 2026?
After the announcement of NEET MDS result, the MCC will conduct the counselling of shortlisted candidates to fill MDS course seats in alligned colleges and institutes. Candidates who obtain the NEET MDS qualifying percentile will only be called for the counselling process. The MCC will not consider the candidates who fail to obtain qualifying percentile.
The MCC will conduct the NEET MDS counselling for All-India quota as well as state quota seats using the merit list. No state government or private college will conduct admission to MDS course at their own level.

If two or more candidates obtain the same scores in NEET MDS, then the merit position is determined using the following tie-breaker criteria-
- Candidates with a lesser number of incorrect responses in the overall paper (Part A & B) will be placed in a better merit position
