Indian Air Force (IAF) has extended AFCAT (1) 2021 application form deadline to January 11, 2021. The examination authority has released additional vacancies for women in Ground Duty (Non-Technical) branch.

Indian Air Force (IAF) has extended AFCAT (1) 2021 application form deadline. Candidates can now submit their application form till January 11, 2021. Earlier, the last date to submit the application form was December 30, 2020. On the other hand, IAF has released additional vacancies for women in Ground Duty (Non-Technical) branch.

All women candidates who were unable to register can now apply for the Ground Duty (Non-Technical) branch. Women candidates already registered for flying/AE Branch will be allowed to add/modify their preference of branch from January 18 to 21, 2021.

 AFCAT (1) 2021 application form was released on December 1, 2020. The application fee is Rs 250 for all categories and can be paid online. While filling the AFCAT application form, candidates are required to enter the Aadhaar Card number. While, Aadhaar Card was optional for candidates belonging to Jammu and Kashmir, Assam and Meghalaya.

AFCAT (1) 2021 online exam will be conducted on February 20 and 21, 2021. AFCAT admit card will be released after February 5. The online test is divided into  four sections: General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability and Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test. The duration of the test is two hours. The question paper comprises a total of 100 questions. The maximum marks allotted to the test are 300.

The EKT exam is conducted for candidates applying to the Ground Duty (Technical) branch. The test will carry questions from Mechanical, Computer Science and Electrical & Electronics. There will be a total of 50 questions The maximum marks allotted to the exam are 150
