UPSC CDS 2 Application 2025 Last Date Today

CDS 2 Application Form: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will end the CDS 2 application process 2025 today, June 20. Candidates need to visit the official website: upsconline.nic.in to fill out the CDS 2 application form 2025 online. Earlier, the last date to complete CDS 2 registration was June 17, which later got extended till today.

To fill up the CDS 2 application form 2025, they must first create an account and log in using their registered email and password, mobile number with OTP, Universal Registration Number (URN), and the Captcha code. To complete CDS 2 application process, they need to pay a fee of INR 200 by using Visa/Master/Rupay Credit/Debit Card/UPI Payment or by using internet banking facility of any Bank. Female/SC/ST candidates are exempted from payment of fees. 

How to fill out the CDS 2 Application Form 2025?

The CDS 2 application form can be filled only in online mode at the UPSC website. Candidates can check the steps given below to know how to apply online for UPSC CDS 2:

Step 1: Visit the official UPSC Online Application Portal.

Step 2: Click “Account Creation” to register.

Step 3: Verify the email and mobile number via OTP.

Step 4: Log in using one of:

Mobile number + OTP

Universal Registration Number (URN) + password

Email ID + password

Step 5: Generate URN after logging in.

Step 6: Complete the CDS Common Application Form (CAF).

Step 7: Select and apply for the CDS exam through the portal.

What After the CDS 2 Application 2025 Window Closes?

Once the application window for the Combined Defence Services Examination (CDS) II officially closes, UPSC is expected to provide a correction window to allow candidates to make necessary changes to their submitted application forms. However, with recent changes in the CDS 2 application process, it remains uncertain whether the Commission will offer this correction facility for the current cycle.
