Bundelkhand University has initiated the UP BEd JEE 2026 counselling process for admission to Bachelor of Education courses across Uttar Pradesh. Phase 2 registration starts today on July 24, 2026. The Main Counselling Registration Round 1 (Phase 1) commenced on July 1, 2026. Candidates can access the seat availability chart on the portal to select their college preferences based on their exam performance.

UP BEd JEE counselling process includes multiple opportunities for admission. Pool Counselling Registration will open from August 9, 2026, for candidates who missed earlier rounds or remained unallotted. Additionally, direct admission registration is set to commence in August 2026.

UP BEd JEE 2026 Counselling Round 2

This round is organised for the candidates who have not participated in the First Round of counselling, candidates who have not been allotted seats in the First Round, or not confirmed his or her seat after seat allotment within the given time.

Registration

  • At first candidate has to register for participation in counselling.
  • Candidates have to login using their login details.
  • Counselling fee and Advance Institute fee payment
  • Candidates who have completed the registration process have to pay Rs. 5750/- (Rs. 750/- as counselling free and Rs. 5000/- as advance institute fee) through online modes (Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card and UPI ) only.
  • In case the candidate is not allotted a seat, the advanced institute fee of Rs. 5000/- would be refunded into the account details provided by them.
  • If the candidate is allotted a seat and he/she does not confirm it, the advance institute fee of Rs. 5000/- will not be refunded. If the candidate fails to clear the eligibility
    qualifying examination and the seat is allotted to them, then in such a case, all the fees except the registration fee (Rs. 750/- only) will be refunded to them.
  • If the candidate is allotted a seat and he/she confirm it, their amount will be adjusted in the institute fee.
  • If the advance institute fee is more than the fee of the allotted institute, the excess amount will be refunded

Note: The counselling fee of Rs. 750 is non-refundable.

Choice Filling

Only registered candidates will be able to fill in the choices.

  • Before choosing, the candidates have to verify the details.
  • For choice in the Sanskrit BEd Institute, the Candidate has to select ‘Yes’ if the candidate has Sanskrit in all three (3) years of graduation.
  • Option to correct their gender in case it is incorrect. By default, this is set on the option they have filled in the online application form.
  • Candidates registered for counselling have to fill in their choices according to their preferences.
  • Candidates can give as many choices as they want.
  • Candidates are advised to give maximum choices to avoid rejection in allotment.
  • Choices can be previewed and rearranged any number of times till the final submission.
  • Choice can be filled in multiple sessions. There is an option to save these choices before logging out. Data not saved will be lost.
  • The choices filled by the candidates are final and cannot be changed once locked. Thus, in their own interest, candidates must fill in a sufficiently large number of choices of institutes in the required order of preference.
  • If a candidate has submitted the choices but has not locked them till the last date of choice filling is over, it will automatically be locked before seat allotment.

College Allotment

  • Institute allotment will be done strictly on the basis of the state rank of the candidate, as well as the Institutes they have selected in order of preference during counselling.
  • State reservation policy will be followed for Aided and Government Institutes only.
  • Seat allotment result will be available on the candidate’s login only and nowhere else.
  • EWS reservation will be followed in Aided, Government and Self-Financing Institutes.

Provisional Allotment cum Confirmation letter downloads.

  • Candidates who have been allotted a college will have to click on the ACCEPT button before downloading the Provisional Allotment cum Confirmation letter.
  • In case the institute fee is more than the advance institute fee, the candidates will have to pay the balance amount online within a given date.
  • In case the institute fee is less than the advance institute fee, they can download this Provisional Allotment cum Confirmation letter. The excess fee amount would be refunded to the candidate. 
  • SC, ST & EWS candidates will have to pay the remaining amount of the balance fee if the institute fee is more than the advance institute fee.

Report to the allotted institute

  • The candidate has to report to the allotted institute within a given date with all the original documents along with the provisional allotment cum confirmation letter.
  • The original documents of the candidates will be physically verified by the Principal of the allotted institute.
  • If the documents of candidates are not found valid by the institute authority, his/her candidature shall be cancelled.

The candidate will be following the listed steps after they have cleared the UP BEd JEE exam.

Counselling Registration

If you have cleared this BEd entrance exam, then the foremost step is to register for the counselling.  Check the counselling timeline and make sure you adhere to it.

  • Access to your profile after logging in to the candidate’s counselling portal.
  • Click on the link that will direct you towards the registration form.
  • Enter all the details asked in the registration form and submit.

Pay the Fees

Just like any other form, you can’t submit it without making an online payment. The candidate must pay the counselling registration and advanced college fees. The fee structure is given below.

Verification of the Uploaded Documents

The exam authorities will verify all the educational documents uploaded by the candidate. During the document verification process, an OTP will be sent to the candidate on the registered number. They must save the OTP for further processing in the BEd admission.

College Choice-filling

Candidate must choose their preferred course and list of colleges when the choice-filling portal opens. Here, they will have to enter the OTP received in the previous round.

Seat Allotment

Based on what the candidate has chosen and the rank they got, the seat allotment process is done. If the candidate is satisfied with their allocated seat, they must lock it after paying the seat acceptance fee in the form of a Demand Draft.

Note: Register for the next round if you are not allocated a seat during this round or aren’t happy with the seat you’re allocated.

Candidate participating in Round 1 must follow the listed steps.

Registration

UP BEd JEE 2026 Counselling Round 3- Pool Counselling

After completion of the first and second round of counselling, the vacant seats in institutes are filled by pool counselling. 

Registration

  • For pool counselling, only those candidates are eligible who have not participated in the first round and second round of counselling, or those not allotted any college in the first & second round or those who fail to take admission against the allotted college seat.
  • Those candidates who were allotted a seat in the first and second round but did not pay the seat confirmation fee will have to pay full fees, i.e. Rs. 52000/- (Rs. 51,250/- as institute fee and 750/- as Counselling registration fee) if they participate in the pool counselling (Third Round). The advance institute fee of Rs. 5000/- that they have paid in the first round or second round will not be refunded.
  • Candidates have to log in using their credentials.
  • Upon login, they have to fill in the details of the bank account.
  • Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in 2026 and whose results have been declared have to enter the marks and upload the scanned copy of their mark sheet.

Counselling fee and full institute fee payment

Counselling fee is Rs. 750/-, which is non-refundable. They have to deposit Rs. 51,250/- as the full institute fee. This amount will not be refunded if the candidate is allotted an institute. 

Choice Filling

Only registered candidates will be able to fill in the choices.

  • Candidates must carefully verify all their details before proceeding with choice filling.
  • For admission to a Sanskrit B.Ed institute, candidates should select “Yes” only if they have studied Sanskrit in all three years of graduation.
  • An option is available to correct gender details if entered incorrectly (as per the application form).
  • Candidates must fill their college choices based on preference and can select multiple options.
  • It is advisable to choose a maximum number of colleges to improve chances of seat allotment.
  • Choices can be previewed, edited, and rearranged multiple times until final submission.
  • Candidates can fill choices in multiple sessions and must save their data before logging out to avoid loss.
  • Once choices are locked, they cannot be modified. Therefore, candidates should finalize their preferences carefully.
  • If choices are submitted but not locked before the deadline, they will be automatically locked before seat allotment.

UP BEd JEE 2026 Counselling Fourth Round- Direct Admission

Only those candidates can take part in this round of counselling who have a valid state rank.

  • For direct admission candidate has to be present in the college.
  • Candidates can be admitted to any institute only if seats are vacant in that institute after the first and pool counselling.
  • The following candidates are eligible for direct admission.
    • Those who have not been admitted to any institute in the first counselling.
    • Those who have not been admitted to any institute in the pool counselling.
    • Those who have not participated in the counselling process.
  • The institute will verify the candidate’s details from the Bundelkhand University, Jhansi website, and give direct admission to candidates as per the rules.
  • Verification of the candidate will have to be done by entering the OTP sent to the registered and alternate mobile numbers of the candidate on the BEd JEE 2026 counselling portal.
  • Candidates will have to pay the counselling fee of Rs. 750/- through online mode (Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card and UPI) only for participating in the direct admission
    process.
  • The fee will be deposited at the institute level
