Indian Army BSc Nursing 2026: Dates, Application Forms, Eligibility, Pattern & Syllabus, Selection Process

DGMS does not conduct any separate exam for admission to MNS BSc nursing course. Candidates must appear for NEET UG exam 2025 to be eligible to appear for the Indian Army BSc nursing aptitude test. However, a screening test which is also known as an aptitude test is held known as Computer Based Test of General Intelligence, General English (ToGlGE) and personal interview to be conducted by the selection board.

The Indian Army BSc Nursing aptitude exam is conducted only once a year for admission to BSc nursing course. The conducting bosy accept the score of NEET entrance exam for assessing the aptitude of the aspirants. Later, a seperate aptitude test known as Test of General Intelligence and General English (TOGIGE) is conducted online followed by a Psychological Aptitude Test (PAT). The entrance exam for Indian Army BSc nursing exam has been scrapped. The basic eligibility is to appear for the NEET UG exam. In addition, an online physchological exam will be conducted for a duration of 30 minutes.  In addition to this, admission to MNS services requires candidates to appear for an aptitude test named Test of General Intelligence and General English (TOGIGE). Six institutions in India provide a total of 220 BSc. nursing seats. Candidates can apply for the exam to seek admission on these seats in the Indian Army cadre. Those six institutes are stationed in different location namely, CON, AFMC, Pune; CON, CH (EC), Kolkata; CON, INHS Asvini, Mumbai; CON, AH (R&R), New Delhi; CON, CH (CC), Lucknow; and CON, CH (AF), Bangalore.

Candidate must have passed in the FIRST Attempt, senior secondary examination (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, and English with not less than 50 per cent as regular student from a recognised board/statutory/University/Examination body. No, the Indian Army BSc nursing test is solely for female students. Female candidates who are unmarried/divorcee/legally separated/widow without encumbrances and born between 01 Oct 1998 and 30 Sep 2006 (both days inclusive) can apply for the entrance exam. The minimum height required for entry into Armed Forces for female candidates is 152 cm. Candidates from Hill and Northeastern States will be accepted with a minimum height of 147 cm.

No, NTA did not extend the last date of NEET 2025 application form submission. As per past years' trends, NTA extends or reopens the NEET application window every year, either as a response to student requests or due to some external factors such as server errors or non-functioanlity of exam website. However, candidates are advised not to wait till the last minute, or wait for the extension of application last date, and complete the process at the earliest possible.

NEET or National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is a paper-and-pencil-based test (PBT) of three hours or 180 minutes duration. There will be a total of 180 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), all of which will be compulsory to attempt. The syllabus of the exam consists of Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects. The Biology subject is segregated between Zoology and Botany. On the other hand, the Chemistry subject is segregated into Organic, Inorganic and Physical Chemistry. Unlike last year, the subjects will not be divided into two sections.
