How to Apply for Indian Army BSc Nursing 2025?
The Indian Army BSc nursing application form-filling process is an online process and involves certain steps. Candidates can refer to the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Registration
- Candidates need to visit the official website of the Indian Army, joinindianarmy.nic.in.
- Already registered candidates can log in directly by using their username and password. For new registrations click on the ‘Registration’ button.
- A page having important instructions will appear on the screen after reading the instructions candidates are required to click on the continue button.
- The candidate will be redirected to the application form page and according to the instructions, the candidate has to provide all the details such as Aadhaar number or Enrolment number and name, father/guardian’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, email ID and mobile number. The name should be the same as mentioned in the class 10 passing certificate and during the registration.
Step 2: OTP verification
- To authenticate the details the system will send an OTP to the registered email ID and mobile number, candidates have to submit the OTP and click on the submit button to continue.
- Provide all the ‘remaining mandatory’ details such as the father’s name, mother’s name, and full address of correspondence. Candidates have to set their password and click on the ‘Save’ button and proceed.
- Candidates who want to edit any field click on ‘Communication Details’ and after editing click on the ‘Update’ button to proceed.
- Provide all the Communication Details and click on ‘Save & Continue’ to complete the registration.
- The system will notify the candidate by showing a pop-up message saying ‘Record saved successfully’. Click on the ‘OK' button to confirm. Click on the ‘Apply Online' button on the dashboard to proceed with filling out the Indian Army BSc nursing application form.
Step 3: Filling the Application Form
- Eligible candidates, those who have successfully registered themselves, will be able to apply for Indian Army BSc nursing, and the Apply button will appear automatically. Click on the ‘Apply’ button to continue. Candidates can edit and check the previously provided information, during the registration, by going to the ‘My Profile’ section on the dashboard. Candidates will have to provide their academic and professional experience details (If any).
Step 4: Uploading of Photo and Signature
- Candidates have to read the important instructions to fill out the online application form and click on Continue. Fill out the remaining mandatory fields, and upload a photo and signature according to the specified size and format. Click on the ‘Save & Continue’ button to proceed.
- Candidates have to furnish all the Communication details again and click on the ‘Save & Continue' button to continue.
- A page showing the summary of the details provided will appear, candidates have to verify the details for any discrepancy before the submission. No edition or modification is allowed after the submission. Candidates can edit the details by clicking on the ‘Edit’ button.
Step 5: Payment of Application Fee
- After filling out the Indian Army BSc Nursing application form, candidates will have to pay the application fee. The fee can be paid only after the activation of the payment link which takes 24 to 48 hours post the submission of the application form.
- After 24 to 48 hours, the candidates have to log in to their accounts through the Officers Entry Apply/ Login and click on ‘Apply Online’ on the dashboard.
- The candidate will be redirected to the ‘Eligibility’ page Click on the ‘Apply’ button to access the active payment link.
The application process is only concluded after the payment of the application fee. After making a payment, a DU number (It is a reference number used for banking purposes) will be generated, and candidates are required to keep this number safely with them.

Applicants who fulfill the eligibility criteria for Indian Army BSc Nursing can fill out the application form. The MNS BSc eligibility criteria is mentioned below:

- Date of Birth: Students must be born between October 1, 1999 and September 30, 2007 (Both days are inclusive).
- Educational Qualification: Applicants must have passed 10+2 on the first attempt with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology), and English with not less than 50% aggregate marks as a regular student from a recognised board/university.

Indian Army BSc Nursing Shortlisting Process 2025
From 2023 onwards, the shortlisting criteria for the BSc nursing programme have been changed by the DGMS. Candidates shortlisted in the NEET (UG) exam will be eligible to participate in the Indian Army BSc nursing admission process. In addition, the shortlisted candidate will have to appear for a psychological test and an interview separately. Upon learning both, a final merit list will be prepared for the candidates who will be called for admission (admission fee payment).
