Indian Army BSc nursing 2026 result will be announced by the DGMS (Directorate of General Medical Services) on the official website, joinindianarmy.nic.in. The MNS result will be published in the form of a merit list, and it will be a downloadable document. The first merit list will be purely based on the performance of the candidates in the Indian Army BSc nursing 2026 written exam. There will be two aptitude tests, namely, ToGIGE and PAT. Candidates who qualified for the psychological aptitude test will be called for an interview.

The final merit list and the selection of the candidates will be done based on the merit in the NEET 2026 exam and the personal interview, subject to medical fitness. After the NEET result is declared, the conducting body will prepare a list of candidates who will clear the cutoff and have applied for the MNS programme. They will be called in for the personal interview. The personal interview will beheld in August 2026, tentatively.

How to Check Indian Army BSc Nursing 2026 Result?

The MNS, Indian Army BSc nursing result will be declared in August 2026. Know how to check the result here:

  1. Visit the official website of the Indian Army, joinindianarmy.nic.in.
  2. Look out for the notification in the latest update section of the homepage.
  3. Click on the link to check the result
  4. A new window will open where the candidates will have to log in by using their roll number, name, or password, and click on the ‘Submit’ button
  5. The result will appear in the PDF format on the screen.
  6. Download the PDF and find your name on it.
  7. Take at least 3-4 copies of the MNS nursing result.

Q:   Will the Indian Army BSc Nursing interview be conducted online or offline?
A: 

The personal interview for the Indian Army BSc Nursing programme was conducted offline at the physical location which was intimated to the shortlisted candidates via email. Candidates appeared for the interview on the pre-designated time and slot to avoid confusion at the campus.

Q:   When will the result of the Indian Army BSc Nursing 2026 be announced?
A: 

The MNS entrance exam has been scrapped. However, a separate admission process is followed by DGMS in which they conduct an aptitude test of those candidates who meet the cutoff and appear for the NEET UG exam. After the screening process concludes, a merit list of the final candidates who get selected is released on the official website.

Indian Army BSc Nursing 2026 Cutoff

The Indian Army BSc nursing cutoff 2026 will be released by the conducting body in the information brochure in the form of a PDF document. The qualifying status to apply for the exam and to be eligible for admission are different. For admission purposes, the NEET UG cutoff score will also be considered. After the declaration of NEET results, the MNS cutoff can be expected. Only those candidates who clear the cutoff will be eligible to appear for the written test and will be called for an interview and medical fitness test later.

Q:   Is MNS cutoff same as the NEET cutoff?

The  Indian Army BSc Nursing cutoff is not synonymous with the NEET cutoff. They are different. Candidates can refer to the NEET cutoff scores, which are considered for admission to top nursing colleges. However, the MNS cutoff is released separately on the official website of DGMS for admission to six campuses in India.   

Q:   How to get BSc Nursing in AFMc?
A: 

To get admission in the AFMC BSc nursing programme, candidates must apply for the NEET UG exam. It is mandatory to appear for the NEET UG exam to be eligible for admission to the MNS course. The DGMS will conduct a separate aptitude test along with the interview and medical fitness test. But only those candidates who appear for the NEET UG exam will be able to apply for admission.

The Indian Army BSc Nursing counselling process does not take place. Only a screening test is conducted to allot seats to the shortlisted candidates to their preferred course and college location. At the time of MNS counselling, the physical document verification and fee payment will be done by the applicants.

The Indian Army BSc Nursing exam is a very competitive entrance test in the nursing domain. Candidates must ideally aim for 500+ marks in the NEET exam to be eligible for admission to the six available campuses. As there are only 220 seats and thousands of candidates compete for admission, the race to secure seats faces a cut-throat competition.

What after Indian Army BSc Nursing Results?

The Directorate General of Medical Services (DGMS) announced the interview schedule for eligible female nursing aspirants who were included in the MNS results. Once the interviews got scheduled, candidates appeared at the designated venue on the pre-defined time slot. Last year, the venue was Army Hospital (R&R), Delhi Cantt. Such candidates were subjected to a medical examination. When reporting for an interview, the candidate was supposed to carry a printout of the interview call letter, which was emailed to all candidates who passed the exam. Following the conclusion of the medical examination and taking into account the medical examination results, exam, and interview scores, a final Indian Army BSc Nursing merit list was prepared for the shortlisted candidates.

Q:   When will the interview for the Indian Army BSc Nursing admission be conducted?

After the announcement of the Indian Army BSc Nursing result, shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview round on the allocated dates as mentioned in their call letter. The interview will be conducted after the NEET entrance exam, Test of General Intelligence and General English (ToGIGE), and Psychological Aptitute Test (PAT). The medical examination will be the last step of the selection process. 

Q:   How many seats will be available through MNS nursing exam?

Six institutions in India provide a total of 220 BSc. nursing seats. Candidates can apply for the exam to seek admission on these seats in the Indian Army cadre. Those six institutes are stationed in different location namely, CON, AFMC, Pune; CON, CH (EC), Kolkata; CON, INHS Asvini, Mumbai; CON, AH (R&R), New Delhi; CON, CH (CC), Lucknow; and CON, CH (AF), Bangalore.

The Indian Army BSc nursing entrance test has been scrapped. They accept NEET scores. In addition to this, ToGIGE is a basic written test which is a part of the selection process followed by DGMS. The difficulty level of this test depends on the IQ of the aspirant.

The MNS Counselling schedule will not be released as no counselling is held for admissions. Only ToGIGE and PAT will be conducted, followed by a medical fitness test. If a candidate clears all levels, an immediate joining letter will be extended.
