JENPAS UG 2025: Counselling (OUT), Result, Answer Key, Cutoff, Pattern & Syllabus

JENPAS UG exam is a gateway for admission to Nursing, Paramedical and Allied Sciences Under Graduate Courses in the state of West Bengal. The exam is conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) every year followed by the counselling process. It is a state-level exam through which candidates can apply to  BSc-Nursing, BPT, BMLT, BSc-CCT, BSc-OTT, BSc-PT, BSc-PA, B.Sc. MMB, B.V.S.O, BHA courses. 

JENPAS UG 2025 exam will be held on October 18, 2025. The official date has not been released by WBJEEB on the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in. Earlier, the exam was scheduled to he held on May 25, 2025, but it was cancelled. 

JENPAS UG is an offline exam that is provided in Multiple Choice Questions (Objective-type), in which four options are provided in each question. The question paper is provided in both English and Bengali. Candidates are given 90 minutes to solve the paper. Each candidate gets 2 marks correct answer, and for each wrong answer, 0.5 marks will be deducted. 

The JENPAS UG 2025 counselling process is ongoing presently from November 14, 2025. The JENPAS UG counselling registration is ongoing at the official website. There will be two rounds of counselling. The entire counselling process is being managed online at wbjeeb.nic.in, for admission to BSc-Nursing, BPT, BMLT, BSc-CCT, BSc-OTT, BSc-PT, BSc-PA, B.Sc. MMB, B.V.S.O, BHA courses.

WBJEEB has released the counselling dates for JENPAS UG 2025. According to the counselling schedule, the JENPAS UG counselling registration begins on November 14, 2025. Students can fill the form & choice filling till November 19, 2025. The entire JENPAS UG counselling events are mentioned on the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in. It is mandatory to participate in counselling to seek admission to the BSc Nursing 4-year duration course. 

Candidates need to provide necessary personal details, academic details, bank account details (for in case of any refund), address, etc. The Candidate must also provide his/her application number/roll number and rank for JENPAS (UG)-2024 and provide following academic information. Plese note that there is no provision to make any correction/editing after final submission of the registration by the candidate.

JENPAS 2025 results has been released online by the state board on November 12, 2025. WBJEEB has uploaded the rank cards of the candidates who appeared for the exam. The JENPAS UG rank card is an essential document required at the time of counselling. Therefore, candidates are advised to download it from the official website of JENPAS UG.

Students who want to qualify the exam must check the result once it is out. The authorities release the result of JENPAS UG on the official website.  Applicants need to enter their login credentials which are application number, password and security pin. 

After checking the results, candidates need to check their results and incase of any issue, one can contact the authorities. 

WBJEEB releases JENPAS results in the form of a rank card. Candidates can download the JENPAS result through the direct link or by visiting the official website. Candidates will have to log in to the admission portal to download the rank card. The exam conducting body will not release any rank list on the official source. 

The JENPAS UG final answer key has been released in online mode on the website on November 12, 2025. It will be released in a PDF file which includes the set wise A, B, C and D. Applicants will be able to download and calculate their marks in the exam. 

Yes, applicants were allowed to raise objections to the answer key till October 25, 2025. Authorities released the provisional answer key of JENPAS UG. All those students who are not satisfied with the response were allowed to challenge the model answer key by paying the application correction fee. After that, the authorities will check the response received from the applicants, and they will accordingly prepare the final JENPAS UG answer key. 

The WBJEEB released the JENPAS UG provisional answer key on October 24, 2025. Applicants who appeared for the exam can access the answer key by entering their login credentials. If students are not satisfied with the answer key, then they can raise objections by paying the application correction fee. 

As per the guidelines issued by WBJEEB, a seat acceptance fee of INR 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) must be paid to download the allotment letter. If the candidate fails to pay the seat acceptance fee, the current allotment will be cancelled. The candidate will not be considered for further rounds as well. The counselling process will be carried out online through the official website. 

JENPAS UG counselling seat allotment result will be announced online for the Round-1 counselling. For the round-2 counselling, WBJEEB will release the seat allotment result seperately. A third, mop-up round will be conducted for the seats that remain vacant. Candidates will be able to download the seat allotment result for the mop-up round as all the updates/results that will be published on wbjeeb.nic.in. 

Document verification is done at the time of admission in JENPAS UG counselling. Candidates must present the following documents: Provisional Seat Allotment Letter, JENPAS UG Rank card, Class 10th admit card/birth certificate, Class 12th marksheet, an Undertaking from the candidate as per the Proforma.

A candidate must be a citizen of India. The applicant must be domiciled in the state of West Bengal. The candidate must have passed or must be appearing for 10+2/class 12 in system only in 2025. The applicant's age must be 17 years as on 31.12.2025. The applicant should have been born on or before 31/12/2008. Only female candidates are eligible to apply for the BSc nursing course in both government colleges. 

JENPUAH is the former name for JENPAS UG exam. JENPAS stands for Joint Entrance Test for Nursing, Paramedical and Allied Sciences Under Graduate exam. It is being conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) for entry to undergraduate courses. The JENPAS UG exam is conducted in offline mode and is organised once a year. Candidates can appear for the exam on October 18, 2025 this year. 

The JENPAS UG 2025 application form was released on September 8, 2025. The students can register for the JENPAS UG exam in online mode only. The last date to register for the exam is September 16, 2025, as announced on the official website. JENPAS UG is an offline (Pen & Paper Mode) entrance exam conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB). As per the exam analysis conducted for the previous year exams, it is a moderately difficult exam. A good preparation strategy will help candidates appear for the exam without much difficulty. JENPAS UG is conducted for the duration of 1.5 hours each for 2 papers (each carries 50 questions). Candidates need to answer Multiple Choice Questions and the medium of the exam is both in English and Bengali language. 

No, there is no negative marking in JENPAS UG exam for category-II questions. In both paper I and paper II, there will be two categories of questions in the exam. The category-II questions will not attract any negative marking for the candidates. Salient features of category-II questions are: Candidates is free to choose one/more options. Not attempting the questions will lead to 0 marks. However, for Category I questions, - ¼ (25% negative) marks will be deducted for choosing incorrect options. 

The JENPAS UG 2025 syllabus has been released by WBJEE. The JENPAS UG syllabus 2025 has been released along with the information bulletin for the exam. No changes have been introduced in the JENPAS UG syllabus 2025. In the past few years, the JENPAS UG syllabus has remained unchanged. Once WBJEE releases the JENPAS UG 2025 syllabus officially through the information bulletin, it will confirm whether there has been any change in the JENPAS UG syllabus. The syllabus is the same as the Class 11 and Class 12 Board exam syllabi for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

There are two papers which are conducted on the same day, Paper I and Paper II. Subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Basic English, and Logical Reasoning are asked in the JENPAS UG syllabus. There are a total of 100 questions carrying 115 marks overall in the paper I. Important subjects included in Paper II are Physical Science, Mathematics, General Knowledge, Basic English, and Logical Reasoning.  A total of 100 questions carrying 115 marks overall in the paper II also.

The official exam conducting body, West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB), prepares and sets the syllabus of JENPAS UG entrance exam. The state-level entrance exam is conducted for screening candidates for admission to BSc-Nursing, BPT, BMLT, BSc-CCT, BSc-OTT, BSc-PT, BSc-PA, B.Sc. MMB, B.V.S.O, BHA courses.  The Paper-I (for all courses) will be based on 11th and 12th standard syllabi and curriculum of the recognised Board/Councils in India. However, the Paper-II (for BHA) will test candidates based on the content of Physical Science and Mathematics. The questions will be based on 10th standard syllabi of West Bengal Board of Secondary Education and other equivalent and recognised Boards/Councils in India and the content of General Knowledge, Basic English and Logical reasoning will be equivalent to 12th standard curriculum.

The JENPAS UG counselling admit card was released online at the official website. Applicants are advised to enter their login credentials to download the JENPAS UG admit card. It comprises the following details:

• Candidate's Name

• Personal details such as father’s name, date of birth, & gender, etc. 

• Date and Time of exam

• Roll number

The JENPAS UG 2025 admit card was issued on October 10, 2025. The admit card is available on the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in. JENPAS UG 2025 exam is scheduled to take place on October 18, 2025. 

Students can download the JENPAS UG hall ticket as it has been issued by the authorities in online mode. After that applicants would be advised to visit the official website, followed by entering the login credentilas. After downloading the JENPAS UG admit card, the candidate must check for the details mentioned in it and contact to the authorities in case of any deviations from the correct information.

Applicants who find that they have made a mistake in their JENPAS UG 2025 application form while filling it can make the amends/edits in the application correction window in online mode. The authorities have informed that it is not possible to correct any primary data, i.e., Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Gender, Domicile, and Date of Birth. Hence, one must be cautious while filling out the JENPAS UG application form. The JENPAS UG application correction window is available from September 18 to September 19, 2025. 

The exam conducting body will allow candidates to make corrections in the JENPAS application form. WBJEEB has released the JENPAS 2025 application correction dates. Applicants can make necessary changes in the JENPAS application form on September 18 and September 19, 2025. 

Yes, candidates domiciled in West Bengal are only eligible to apply for the JENPAS UG entrance exam. An Indian citizen who is a domicile of WB can apply for the exam. The JENPAS UG exam is conducted for admission to the UG level nursing and paramedical courses. West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) conducts the OMR based Common Entrance Test.

Yes, both male and female candidates can apply and appear for the JENPAS UG exam. However, male candidates will not be eligible for admission in BSc nursing course in government colleges of West Bengal. They can only apply to the private colleges to pursue BSc nursing course.

Candidates should have attained minimum 17 years to appear for JENPAS UG exam. Thye must not be older than 35 years. The applicant must be 17 years of age as on 31.12.2025. The upper age limit for the BVSO programme is 40 years.
