Given below is the MH CET BSc nursing application process 2026, which candidates should follow to apply for the BSc nursing exam:

  1. Visit cetcell.mahacet.org and register for the CET cell.
  2. Download and read the brochure for MH Nursing CET 2026 available on the official website
  3. Keep the necessary documents ready at the time of filling out the MH BSc nursing CET application form.
  4. Fill in the MH BSc Nursing application form provided on the CET Cell official website carefully and make sure to avoid mistakes.
  5. Candidates need to select at least three different nearby exam centres from the given list to appear for the exam at the physical test centres.

MH BSc Nursing CET Eligibility Criteria 2026

State CET Cell has released the eligibility criteria for MH Nursing CET 2026 online. The eligibility criteria are the minimum conditions to appear for the entrance test. The MH BSc Nursing exam criteria comprise education qualification, domicile, and age. The eligibility criteria are mentioned below.

  • The candidate must be an Indian Citizen domiciled in Maharashtra.
  • The NRI applicants are eligible only for a maximum 15 per cent quota.
  • Overseas Citizens of India can apply for all types of seats in government and private colleges.
  • Passed Class 12 or equivalent exam from an Institution located in Maharashtra with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects.
  • The aspirant must have been born on or before December 31, 2010.

What is MH Nursing CET Exam?

Maharashtra Bachelor of Science in Nursing Common Entrance Test (MH BSc Nursing CET) is a state-level BSc nursing entrance exam conducted by Maharashtra CET Cell. It is an online (computer-based) exam conducted annually to grant admission to Government Nursing Colleges and 85% of seats under the State quota of Private Nursing Colleges. 15% of the Institutional quota seats in Private Nursing colleges will be filled by eligible candidates, including eligible NRI candidates who will appear and qualify in the MH Nursing CET 2026. Around 30% of seats are reserved for female candidates in all the Colleges of Maharashtra.

The MH BSc Nursing CET 2026 will be a CBT exam. There will be 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark. Each multiple-choice question will carry four alternatives/options. The candidate will have to choose one answer option to score 1 mark for each question. The MH BSc Nursing CET exam duration is 1 hour & 30 minutes. The medium of examination will be English.

MH BSc Nursing CET Admit Card 2026

The MH Nursing CET 2026 admit card will be released tentatively in the fourth week of April 2026. Candidates can download it from the exam portal. Candidates can access the MH BSc Nursing CET admit card/hall ticket using the login credentials allotted at the time of registration. The MH BSc Nursing CET hall ticket will be sent to the candidates at their registered email ID. Candidates will be informed about the availability of the MH BSc Nursing CET admit card through email or SMS. Candidates need to provide the following details to download the admit card from the official website:

(ii) Password or Date of Birth

After downloading the MH Nursing hall ticket, it is important to affix a recent passport-size photograph on the admit card, preferably the same as provided during registration. The MH Nursing CET answer key for 2026 will be released around 10-15 days after the scheduled exam date in May 2026. The State CET Cell, Maharashtra, will release the question paper and response sheet, along with the MH Nursing CET answer key 2026. Objections can be submitted within the stipulated date. 

If a candidate has an objection to any question in the "Question Paper" or "Answer Key," he/she can raise the objection through the objection tracking option. Candidates will be allowed to submit the objections online by paying a question paper challenge fee of INR 1000 per objection through an online payment gateway. After the timeline is over, no candidate will be allowed to submit objections or access the answer key for cross-verification purposes. MH BSc Nursing CET registration window will close on February 24, 2026. The application form is available on the website of the MH State CET Cell, cetcell.mahacet.org. Eligible students must apply before the last date.

The MH BSc nursing result will be valid for only that academic session in which the result will be released. Candidates need to appear for the exam again to be eligible for participating in the counselling.
