MH BSc Nursing CET Counselling 2025: Seat Allotment Result, Dates, Merit List

MH BSc Nursing CET 2025 counselling is conducted annually by the STATE COMMON ENTRANCE TEST (CET) CELL, MUMBAI, for admission to Government, Aided, Private, and Minority nursing institutes in the state of Maharashtra. To participate in the BSc nursing counselling process, it is mandatory to appear for the MH BSc Nursing CET entrance exam that was held on April 8, 2025 this year. Candidates who qualify for the cutoff are eligible to participate in the counselling process.

Know the counselling process here. First, apply for the counselling online at cetcell.mahacet.org. Then upload the mandatory documents. Make a fee payment as mentioned in the prospectus. The Choice Filling is the next important step. Thereafter, a merit list and seat matrix will be released. Candidates whose names appear in those lists have a chance for Seat Allotment. Check the Result when issued. If you accept the result, then go ahead with the Physical Reporting & Admission. For that, the aspirant needs to pay admission fees and confirm seat.

MH BSc Nursing CET 2025 Counselling Registration

To register for the MH BSc nursing CET 2025 counselling, follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Visit cetcell.mahacet.org
2. Click on the “New Registration”
3. Enter the CET registration number and date of birth
4. Create a password and PIN
5. Now, using the registration number and password to log in, fill in details such as: Personal details, Domicile information, Educational qualifications, and Category/reservation details

This fee is non-refundable and mandatory to participate in the Centralized Admission Process (CAP).

Choice Filling Process

Here is the detailed choice-filling process which is mandatory to exercise in order to participate in the counselling.

1. Log in to the Official Portal at cetcell.mahacet.org
2. Provide your registration number, password, and document verification PIN
3. Click on the Preference Form tab
4. A list of colleges and courses will be displayed
5. Fill up to 300 preferences for colleges and courses
6. Arrange them in order of preference as per your preferences
7. Save the Preferences
8. Review the list thoroughly before proceeding.
9. Then click on “Lock the Preferences”
10. Download and print the preference form for future reference.

No further changes are allowed once the choices are locked. Therefore, it is important to preview them before locking.

Merit List & Seat Matrix

After each round of counselling, the counselling conducting body releases a merit list. Candidates whose names are included in the merit list are eligible for the seat allotment. Therefore, it is important to check the MH CET Nursing 2025 merit list for those candidates who register to participate in the counselling.

Based on merit and preferences, the allotment result will be published online.

Physical Reporting & Document Verification

Candidates are required to visit the allotted college with original documents. They would be required to attend a personal interview for final admission.

3. After the allotment result/selection list is released, candidates can choose to opt for any one of the following options:

Option 1: Accept and Freeze the seat

Option 2: Float the seat (participate in the next round for a better option)

Option 3: Decline and wait for the next round

In case the candidate chooses option 2, then he can proceed with college reporting and be present for the physical verification of the documents at the allotted institute.

The final step of the counselling is reporting to the allotted college. It is expected that the candidates must physically report to the allotted college within the stipulated deadline.
