State Bank of India has invited applications for 3,850 SBI Circle Officers vacancies. The online application form will be accepted till August 16. Selection of candidates will be done based on shortlisting and Interview. 

SBI Recruitment

The State Bank of India has invited applications for appointment of SBI Circle Officers in the bank. A total of 3,850 vacancies have been announced. The selected candidates will be posted in the applied circle only. The application form has been released on July 27. Interested candidates can apply and pay the application fees online till August 16. The application fee of SBI recruitment is Rs 750 for General/ EWS/ OBC while SC/ ST/ PWD candidates are exempted from fee payment.

SBI Recruitment 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates need to fulfill the following eligibility criteria in terms of age and educational qualification.

Educational qualification: Candidates must have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognised university.

Age Limit: Candidates as on August 1, 2020 should not be above 30 years. They must have born not earlier than August 2, 1990.

Experience: Candidates as on August 1, 2020, must have two years’ experience as an Officer in any scheduled Commercial Bank or any Regional Rural Bank.

Local Language: Candidates applying for vacancies of a state should have to produce Class 10 or 12 marksheet or certificate. This should indicate that they have studied the specific local language.

SBI 2020 Recruitment: Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be done based on shortlisting and Interview. However, SBI reserves the right to conduct the written exam. The merit list for selection will be prepared in descending order on the basis of scores obtained in interview only. The merit list will be prepared state-wise and category-wise. In case more than one candidate score the SBI cutoff marks, such candidates will be ranked according to their age in descending order in the merit.

SBI Recruitment: Salary

The initial salary of candidates will be on the scale of JMGS-I. The pay scale is Rs 23,700-980/7-30,560-1,145/2-32,850-1,310/7-42,020). The starting salary is Rs 23,700 plus one increment for each completed year of service rendered in officer cadre in the Scheduled Commercial Bank and Regional Rural Bank, as on August 1, 2020. The Officers are also eligible for DA HRA/Lease rental, CCA, Medical and other allowances.
