WBCS exam 2020 - 21 dates announced. Read below for details.

WBCS_2020_2021_Exam_Dates

The West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has announced the exam dates for the West Bengal Civil Services (WBCS) exam 2020 and 2021. The WBCS prelims 2021 will be conducted on February 7. The WBCS 2021 applications will be invited in October - November 2020.

The candidates who cleared the WBCS prelims 2020, conducted on February 9, will be eligible to appear in the WBCS main exam 2020. The WBCS 2020 main exam will be conducted from December 19 to 26. There will be an enormous gap of ten months between the WBCS 2020 prelims and main exam. This will be a grand opportunity for the candidates to prepare the WBCS 2020 main exam and ensure their selection in the WBCS 2020 result.

The WBCS 2020 main exam will be conducted in December so there are five months left for the WBCS 2020 preparation. The candidates need to plan out to prepare every aspect of the WBCS syllabus 2020. The WBCS main exam comprises of eight papers. The pattern of the WBCS main exam is as follows.

The compulsory papers of the WBCS main exam are objective type question papers and the optional subject papers are of conventional type papers.

The WBCS 2021 prelims exam will be conducted in February 2021. This means there will be a gap of three months only between the main and prelims exam. The candidates need to prepare in an integrated manner to cater to the needs of both the exams.
