WBPSC WBCS Form 2024-25: Online Application Link, Application Fee

The candidates need to regsiter on the WBCS online portal before applying for the WBCS exam. The candidates can see below the steps to enrol at the WBPSC official application website.

• The candidates need to provide an active mobile number, valid email Id, father's name and mother’s name
• After registration, an OTP will be sent to the candidate's mobile number
• Using this OTP, the candidates can enrol on the online portal
• After that, the enrolment number and password will appear on the screen
• This enrolment number will be used in the WBCS application form

The candidates could fill out the WBCS applications through the WBCS Apply Online Link only.

Step 1. Sign in with the enrolment number and password

• Go to the dashboard
• Click on the application forms

Step 2. Select the name of examination from the drop-down list given at the bottom of the page
Check the eligibility conditions and mark the checkbox for confirming the eligibility and press continue.

Step 3. A form will appear on the screen showing various application stages. Choose the application details

Step 4. Fill in the personal details and click on the save and continue button given at the bottom of the form

Step 5. Upload the passport-size photograph and signature of the stipulated size, then save and continue

Step 6.  After photographing and signature, upload the mark sheets and certificates in the Add academic details section.

Step 7. After adding academic details, add the preference for the services and press save and continue

Step 8. A filled application form will appear for the scrutiny

Step 9. Check the WBCS application form details. No change in the WBCS application will be allowed after the payment of application fees. Click on Back to My Application button

Step 10.  Select the application and proceed to fee payment

Step 11. Online payment and cash payment are available

Step 12. Pay the fee and submit the application form. 
Step 13. After payment of fees, print the application form and take it for future reference

Size and dimension of Photograph and Signature for WBCS Application Form 2024-25

The candidates can see below the WBCS 2024-25 application formalities for uploading the images with the application form.

• Both should be in JPEG format.
• The size should not be more than 100Kb.
• The dimension should be within 3.5 x 4.5 cm in size (138 x177 pixel)

Two modes of payment for the application fees will be available for the candidates. Online and offline. If the candidates select the online fee payment, they can select the bank at the payment gateway and pay the fee. If the candidates choose the pay by cash, the candidates need to generate a UBI Challan and pay the fees at the designated bank branch. 

After the application process, the next in line is the WBCS admit card for the Prelims exam.

WBCS Application Fee

The official notification mentions the WBCS application fee for all the categories. The candidates can submit the WBCS application fee online as well as in offline mode through the bank challan. The Commission provided an exemption to certain categories of candidates from paying the application fee. The candidates can see such categories as given below:

The candidates will be required to pay the WBCS application fee in time and without it the WBCS application will not be deemed completed.
