CUET PG Answer Key 2026: Response Sheet Link, Objection & Fees

The tentative answer key will be released for those candidates only who appeared in the exam. But the final answer key of CUET PG 2026 will be available for all. The candidates can download the CUET PG answer keys in the manner given below:

• Click on Answer Key link

• Log in with your application number and date of birth

• Enter the Security Pin given on screen and click on Submit

• Check and download the answer keys of CUET PG 2026

Candidates will be able to download the provisional and final answer key of CUET PG 2025 pdf from the official website only in online mode. The authorities will first release the provisional answer key of the CUET PG 2025 exam pdf and candidates will be able to check their answers and calculate the probable scores secured in the CUET PG 2025 admission test. The NTA will display the recorded responses and the Question Paper attempted by the candidates on the NTA website prior to the declaration of the result/NTA Score. The recorded responses are likely to be displayed for two to three days. 

Display of CUET PG 2026 Answer Keys For the Challenges

Candidates who have applied for CUET PG 2026 and are waiting for the provisional answer key to be released must read the following points, which are very imporatant in terms of challenges raised against the CUET PG 2026 provisional answer key.

• Only paid challenges made during the stipulated time through the key challenge link will be considered. Challenges without justification/evidence and those filed on any other medium other than the prescribed link will not be considered.
• The NTA decision on the challenges shall be final and no further communication will be entertained. NTA will not inform the Candidates individually about the outcome of the challenges made.
• The subject experts will examine all the challenges received and then a final answer key will be displayed and declared.
• The result will be compiled based on the final answer key declared. No grievance with regard to answer keys after the declaration of the result/NTA Score of CUET PG 2026 will be entertained.

How to Calculate the CUET PG Score?

The candidates can calculate their score in the following way:

• Add four marks for the correct answer
• Subtract one mark for the incorrect answer
• No change in score for unanswered question

NTA will release the detailed procedure to submit challenges against the CUET PG 2026 provisional answer keys. The procedure is given below:

• Please go to the website
• Login with your Application Number, Password, or Login with Application Number and Date of Birth and enter the Security Pin as displayed, and click on the Login Button.
• Click the ‘View/Challenge Answer Key’ button.
• The Option(s) next to the Question ID under the column ‘Correct Option(s)’ stand for the most appropriate Answer Key to be used by NTA.
•  If you wish to challenge this option, you may use any one or more of the Options given in the next five columns by clicking the check box
•  You may want to upload supporting documents, in which you can select ‘Choose File’ and upload (all documents are to be put in a single PDF file).
• After clicking on your desired Option(s) ID for Challenge, scroll down and click on ‘Submit and Review Claims’ and move to the next screen. You must ensure to select all the required options(s) before moving further.
• You will see a display of all the Question ID and Option(s) you have challenged. You may still modify your selection by clicking on ‘Modify Claim’. Once you have selected all the Option(s) ID for Challeng,e you can click on ‘Save Claim and Pay Fee’.
• Click on ‘Save Claim and Pay Fee’ to select payment options. No modification will be allowed after payment.
• Select the Mode of Payment and Pay a non-refundable processing fee for INR 200 for each question challenged. Make payment through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking/UPI.

CUET PG 2026 answer Key (final) will be released openly in public domain. The CUET PG Answer Key PDF will be available under the downloading section of the official website- NTA. The exam conducting authority will prepare the result based on the marks calculated as per the final answer key. This is expected inthe second week of May 2026. This is important because this will be a critical part of the postgraduate admissions process through CUET PG.

The candidates who attempt the comparatively tougher examination are likely to get lower marks as compared to those who attempt the easier one. In order to overcome such a situation,
“Normalization procedure based on Percentile Score” will be used for ensuring that candidates are neither benefitted nor disadvantaged due to the difficulty level of the examination. 

The process of Normalization is an established practice for comparing candidate scores across multisession papers. For normalization across sections, NTA shall use the percentile equivalence.

CUET PG 2026 Percentile Scores

Percentile scores are scores based on the relative performance of all those who appear for the examination. The marks obtained are transformed into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each session of examinees. The Percentile Score indicates the percentage of candidates that have scored EQUAL TO OR BELOW that particular Percentile in that examination. Therefore, the topper (highest score) of each session will get the same Percentile of 100 which is desirable. 

The Percentile score will be the normalised score for the examination (instead of the raw marks of the candidate) and shall be used for the preparation of the merit lists.

Step By Step Procedure for Normalization And Preparation of Result:

Step-1: Distribution of Examinees in two shifts:
Candidates have to be distributed into two sessions randomly so that each session has an approximately equal number of candidates. These two sessions would be as follows:
Session-1: Day-1 Shift-1, Session-2: Day-1 Shift-2
In the event of a more number of days or less number of shifts, the candidates will be divided accordingly. This will ensure that there is no bias in the distribution of candidates who shall take the examination. Further, with a large population of examinees spread over the entire country the possibility of such bias becomes remote. 

Step-2: Preparation of Results for each Session:
The examination results for each session would be prepared in the form of

• Raw Scores
• Percentiles Scores of Total raw scores.
  The Percentiles would be calculated for each candidate in the Session as follows:

Step-3: Compilation of NTA score and Preparation of Result:
The Percentile scores for the Total Raw Score for all the sessions (Session-1: Day-1 Shift-1, Session-2: Day1 Shift-2) as calculated in Step-2 above would be merged and shall be called the NTA scores which will then be used for the compilation of results and further processing for deciding the allocation.
