The exam officials released the IISER 2025 syllabus to ease the candidates' selection of topics in preparation. The IAT 2025 syllabus includes all the crucial topics that will be asked in the IISER 2025 exam. Each year, the examination conducting body releases the IISER syllabus 2025 along with the information brochure for IISER 2025 preparation

Also, there is no change in the IISER Syllabus (for the academic session 2025-2026) subjects, ie, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. Questions in the IISER exam will be asked from topics present in the syllabus of Class 11 and 12 books. IISER 2025 exam question paper carried questions from the sections- Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.

The exam officials have generated an IISER entrance exam mock test link. Candidates can attempt the questions and prepare themselves as per the exam difficulty level and time duration.

With a 7,000 rank in the SC category, admission to any IISER (including newer campuses) is not possible as per 2025 cutoffs. Cutoff ranks for SC category in IISERs generally close between 125 (most competitive) and 750 (least competitive).
