Great exposure to teaching careers, helpful faculty members, and active campus life.
Placements: Out of 55 students in our course, 30 got placed in different schools. The highest salary offered is Rs 40,000 per month by private schools. Top recruiting schools included well-known ones in Delhi like Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel School, Mirambika, and others. Most students got internships as well, mainly in schools. Top roles offered are mostly PRT (primary teacher) positions, and a few students are offered TGT (trained graduate teacher) posts too.
Infrastructure: Our college has a proper library that is open to all students. For our course, there is a separate resource room with all kinds of books like academic books, children's books, and literature. The college also has Wi-Fi available for everyone. The BEL. Ed department has a separate floor with its own classrooms. Our college does not have hostel facilities. The canteen food is good, clean, and available at reasonable prices like Rs 30 for chowmein and Rs 10 for a red pakora. There is a medical room for all students, and a proper playground.
Faculty: Most of the teachers in our course are very helpful, kind, and highly knowledgeable. They have a good understanding of not just their own subjects but other subjects as well. This is a 4-year course that prepares us well for teaching jobs. We also have many school internships, which make it very useful for getting jobs in the future. I don't think the exams are very difficult. Whatever is taught in college is usually what comes in the exams. Almost 99% of students passed.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to become a teacher. This course gives a lot of exposure through real school internships with young children. I feel the course would be better if we had proper textbooks. It would make studying easier. Our college hosts events and fests every year, and well-known singers and artists are invited. The campus is a bit small, so the crowd feels a little more. There are lots of extracurricular activities and different societies you can join. Sports are also given a lot of importance. Our college is NAAC+ accredited.

    Satisfied with the faculty.
Placements: I am still studying and I am in the second year, so I do not know well about the placements, but in the fourth year, EL. ED students get unpaid internship opportunities which enhance the resume and help in getting better jobs. Extracurricular societies give good opportunities.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available, a 3-floor library (very spacious), classrooms are well maintained with furniture in good condition. I am not a hostel resident, so I do not know much about it, but I have taken reviews from my friends living in the hostel. The food served is of good quality, and the medical room is in the hostel itself with two nurses. Taekwondo classes are available also.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. Students learn a lot through this course as it is a versatile course. BEL. ED exams happen annually and everything comes in relevance to the syllabus only. Exams are not that difficult, and the pass percentage in my course is above 30%.
Other: I chose this course as I have an interest in teaching and this is a very useful course for the same. I wish the time period (4 years) could be reduced to 3 years, it will be helpful. Events and fests are amazing as they serve a variety of learning and entertainment.

LSR is a perfect space for students.
Placements: Placements depend on one's choice. Some go for further studies like a master's or something. The placement probability in BEL. Ed is very high. Schools like DPS, British Public School, and many more come for recruitment. In the fourth year, students have the opportunity for internships as part of the curriculum to train and observe them.
Infrastructure: Students do not get air conditioners in classrooms. They are airy and the ventilation is good. The college does have a library, reference room, and computer labs. There is a cafeteria and a canteen on campus for food. Nescafe and Mother Dairy are available. The campus is clean. It has a gym.
Faculty: In this course, students have exams annually. Some teachers conduct mid-term exams for internals. Teachers are very good. Students have mentors and teachers for guidance. It is difficult to blend in with teachers while they teach. Afterwards, it will be very easy and joyful.

Satisfied with faculty, but not with infrastructure.
Placements: The placement at MIRANDA HOUSE in B.El.Ed is good enough. The highest salary is around 42k and the schools that do the recruitment of the students are mostly reputed schools with good salary packages. Example: The Delhi Public School, Delhi. The top roles offered in my course are primary teacher.
Infrastructure: The canteen food in Miranda is just awesome; every variety is available with good taste. The Wi-Fi outside doesn't work properly, which is a bad part, and there are no ACs in the library, but books are available, so no worries. There are fewer sports equipment, so the college should work on that.
Faculty: The faculty and teachers are highly qualified and they are helpful too. Yes, the course curriculum is good and it prepares the students. In B.El.Ed, there are no semester exams, but exams are held yearly and the level is moderate. The previous year's question papers are really helpful.
Other: I chose B.El.Ed because it's a multidisciplinary course which will help me in the future for CIVIL service exams. One thing that bothers everyone in this course is that it's very hectic. The classes generally start from 8:30 am until 5:00 pm. The fests are good, and extracurricular activities are also present. The crowd in Miranda is very joyful.

    Really good infrastructure.
Placements: Placement is about 60%, the highest package is 5 Lacs, the lowest is 2 Lacs. The school has 90% Gurukul teaching UPSC and defense exam preparation, where you can clear the base. All the schools have classes up to 8th grade. From there, you can apply to Google, Amazon, Facebook, Instagram, and startup companies.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and library are available, but the Wi-Fi is very slow. There are no ACs, but in our department, there are ACs. The canteen is good with affordable prices. There are 3 canteens, and the staff is also good. There are many societies, and the administration is very smooth. Medical facilities are provided when needed.
Faculty: Yes, quality teaching is there. The course is relevant, year-wise, with 80% attendance required and 45% to pass. This course is professional and relevant all over India as well as outside. The teachers are very helpful, conscious, and knowledgeable.
Other: Those who want to prepare for any defense exam can choose this course for the base, as well as those who want to do teaching in the future.

Really good infrastructure, great campus life and worth gaining experience in LSR.
Placements: I am currently pursuing but I have heard from seniors that most of the students in our department usually get placed with salary starting from 40k and going till 70-80k. It's a professional course so it's obvious that it will get you a job surely if you work hard.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is top notch and something to worth mention. The buildings, the beauty of campus is beautiful and soothing. Labs are well maintained. We also have a resource room, two libraries and the necessities that we need. Classrooms are also fine.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and very helpful. They teach thoughtfully and are always ready to help. They are friendly and will make you feel comfortable. During our course, we also go for school and slum visits which give us a new experience. We don't have mandatory semester exams but annual ones are there.
Other: The campus life is very good. There is almost something happening every day in our college, either fest, festival celebration, alumni visit or just something that students organise by themselves.

Further following the previous year trends, it is expected that the cutoff will remain same in the upcoming session also. For MBA, the overall cutoff can stood at 98. Similarly, the sectional cutoff can stood at 50 for open category candidates.

Q:   What is DU CUET UG Counselling process?
    A:

Before the CUET counselling process for DU will even begin, it is necessary that aspirants opt for DU during CUET form filling and later apply on the CSAS portal to be eligible for admission. The admission process after CUET result declaration is explained below:

Step 1: After the declaration of the CUET UG exam, register on the DU CSAS portal in multiple phases.

Step 2: Submit College + Course combination preferences in the order of priority on the CSAS dashboard.

Step 3: The University has released the dates for three DU CSAS Seat Allocation Lists for all categories.

    • The "freeze" option in seat allocation for CSAS (DU) is to be selected by the students to confirm their admission choice to the allocated college and course at DU.
    • If candidates are happy with the assigned college and course, they can freeze the request through their dashboard.
    • Once they select this option, they will not be considered for "upgradation" of choice in further rounds of CSAS.
    • Candidates must only select this option only if they are satisfied with the allocated seat and want to take admission to this course & college
    • If they do not choose to upgrade or freeze your admission, their current status will be maintained.

Step 4: Once the candidate "Accept" the provisionally allocated seat, the concerned college will verify the eligibility and documents uploaded by the candidate online. The college has an option to 'Accept' or 'Reject' the admission of the student basis the verification.

Step 5: Once the DU-affiliated college accords the approval, candidates will have to pay the 'Admission Fee' to confirm their seat.

On the basis of the availability of seats due to rejections, cancellations, and withdrawals, DU may announce multiple allocation rounds. The University of Delhi will display the vacant seats on its admission website (admission.uod.ac.in) before every allocation round.

Q:   Is good marks required to get hostel in DU?
