Q:   What is DU CUET UG Counselling process?
    A:

Before the CUET counselling process for DU will even begin, it is necessary that aspirants opt for DU during CUET form filling and later apply on the CSAS portal to be eligible for admission. The admission process after CUET result declaration is explained below:

Step 1: After the declaration of the CUET UG exam, register on the DU CSAS portal in multiple phases.

Step 2: Submit College + Course combination preferences in the order of priority on the CSAS dashboard.

Step 3: The University has released the dates for three DU CSAS Seat Allocation Lists for all categories.

    • If candidates are happy with the assigned college and course, they can freeze the request through their dashboard.
    • Once they select this option, they will not be considered for "upgradation" of choice in further rounds of CSAS.
    • Candidates must only select this option only if they are satisfied with the allocated seat and want to take admission to this course & college
    • If they do not choose to upgrade or freeze your admission, their current status will be maintained.

Step 4: Once the candidate "Accept" the provisionally allocated seat, the concerned college will verify the eligibility and documents uploaded by the candidate online. The college has an option to 'Accept' or 'Reject' the admission of the student basis the verification.

Step 5: Once the DU-affiliated college accords the approval, candidates will have to pay the 'Admission Fee' to confirm their seat.

On the basis of the availability of seats due to rejections, cancellations, and withdrawals, DU may announce multiple allocation rounds. The University of Delhi will display the vacant seats on its admission website (admission.uod.ac.in) before every allocation round.

    Great infrastructure and faculty.
Placements: The college does not offer any placement support or campus recruitment drives. Student are left to search for jobs on their own after completing their course. There is no placement cell or industry tie-ups to help students with career opportunities.
Infrastructure: Our college has no hostel, and students face issues like unreliable transportation, especially if the college is located far from the main city or public transport routes. Daily travel, consumer time, energy, and money affect academic focus and attendance.
Faculty: Another concern is availability and lack of support. Some faculty members are not approachable outside class hours and show minimal interest in solving student doubts or helping with assignments and projects. This creates a communication gap and leaves students.

Good Infrastructure and management in collage
Learning Experience: The course carriculum is well structured and covers essential theoretical concepts ,making it a strong foundation and learning. The syllabus is regularly updated .the inclusion of more practical training, internships and projects would further strengthen the curriculum
Placements: guess, students become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester companies like wipro ,Infosys, flipkart, cisco, accenture ,amazon,TCS and various popular companies provide placements here packages start from 6 lakh per annum and can range upto 40 lakhs
Faculty: The student to faculty ratio is 10:1,ensuring that students received proper guidance .Most professors are approachable and encourage students to ask question during and after lecture. Some faculty members stand out due to their teaching methods ,and student friendly approach, interactive discussions make their learning engaging. The examination system consist of two internal exam and a final semester exam in each semester The exams are quite difficult but those who attend classes regularly and prepare well find them manageable
Course Support: I would rate the course curriculum at 10/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. The curriculum in well structure, up to date, and designed to provide a strong foundation in chosen field and great in future.

    My review of this college.
Placements: PGDAV is very active in terms of offering jobs and internships. Since the first day of college, there have been many workshops regarding jobs and interviews. The placement cell of our college works very hard to improve this scene. We have a placement cell in our college which is dedicated to placements of the final year students, and we have a placement drive every week, and there are a lot of companies. The companies are Pizza Hut, Amazon, HDFC, ICICI, Cognizant, Wipro, ZS Associate, Jio Finance, etc. The average package is 5 LPA and the highest is 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college doesn't have any hostels, but there are many PGs near our college. I reside in Delhi, so I do not need any PG, but some of my friends live in the PGs nearby. The pay varies as per the sharing available and other facilities like Wi-Fi and food. The food is average.
Faculty: M.Com is one of the most common courses that students of the commerce stream take after B.Com. It is good and helps in post-graduation too. The practical learning process involves the course that I am studying, and many subjects of general electives are offered. The faculty is very friendly, and they are available at any time during college hours. And we got a chance to provide personal care to a few of them. They are very sincere in their work and won't waste even a single class. Semester-wise, our results come from total years' marks converted into CPGA. The exam is taken in a 6-semester interval of 6 months. An average of 5 subjects in one semester, with two core subjects. A subject of 100 marks contains 25 marks for internal.

There is a lot to include, but mainly the infrastructure is good and well maintained.
Learning Experience: I personally haven't got any internship but some of my friends got. They are very happy with the internship as the college provide benefit of attendance to them and allow them to take leave from the college. The stipends of the internship is decent as compared to other colleges.
Placements: The Placements are quite good as compared to other 3rd tier colleges in raipur, i am personally not placed in any company as i am a 3rd year student but my sister got a really nice job when she graduated in 2020. She did get a job of 3.5LPA from a company named Technical technologies,
Faculty: Almost all the facilities are good except few like HOD of IT department, he is very strict and he just try to find an opportunity for him to scold the students As I know IT department teachers very well, they all are good and they give marks very generically. I am very much satisfied with the marking scheme of the teachers.
Course Support: I came to know about this college from my sister as she is also graduated from this college and when i joined the college the seniors guided me as well and told about everything about the course, marking scheme and all. The college also conducts sessions for the students to engage with the famous personalities.

I am satisfied with this college.
Placements: Placements drives are attended by several companies like Infosys, TCS, HDFC, ICICI, for roles like Finance Analyst, Tax Audit, Accountant, etc. Placement drives are conducted separately for the Department of Commerce and also combined at the conference center of Delhi University.
Infrastructure: Hostels are available at 7000 to 10000 with every facility for students needed for sustainable accommodation. The college canteen is of good quality, with food served for morning breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The playground and badminton court are available, along with several indoor games.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and highly qualified and knowledgeable with a good teaching style. Each semester has 5 subjects with 70 for theory and 30 for assignments, which is broken into 20 for internal, 5 for presentation and other activities, and 5 for attendance.

    My Review of This College
Placements: One of the college societies, Entrepreneurship Development Cell, which I was a part of, conducted an internship fair when I was in college. Frequent visits to many industrial firms are organized by our teachers so that we have a clear idea of the working of the firms in person. Some banking institutions like State Bank of India, Central Bank of India, HDFC Bank, Amazon, Flipkart, Jio, ICICI Bank, IT Industries of Indore, and many more visit the campus. The average placement was around 2.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Hostel is really suitable. The hostel is available for students, both boys and girls. Every student can get PG accommodation. Sharing rooms of 2 and 4 are both available, but the college has limited seats. Students need to be quick due to fewer seats. Standards are maintained as proper food and clean water are provided with clean surroundings. The fee of PG is less, Rs 2500 per month.
Faculty: Faculty is highly qualified and well versed in the subjects taught by them. However, they could focus a little more on the case study method of teaching, it could really help students once they look out for opportunities post their undergrad. The teachers otherwise are really helpful. They go out of their way to help the students they are teaching or have taught. It’s the same as Delhi University, with 2 semesters every year. Internal exams also happen for 20 marks. They include assignments, PPTs, and short tests. The type of test depends on the exam and the pattern.

There was no minimum age limit to take admission to the MSc programme offered by the university. However, DU PG admission 2022-23 was subject to a valid score in DUET as announced by the University. Starting 2023, the admission process of DU for its postgraduate courses, such as MA, MSc and MCom will be subject to the CUET-PG exam conducted by NTA.

After the results, qualified students will be required to appear for the seat allocation process conducted by the university for final seat allotment.
