Aligarh Muslim University offers a full-time BSc course at the undergraduate level. Candidates seeking admission to AMU for BSc must visit the official website of the University to apply online. AMU BSc admission is completely entrance-based. Depending upon the BSc specialisation chosen by a candidate, the admission is provided based on candidates' marks in either AMU Entrance Exam or CUET-UG. Based on the entrance exam scores, AMU will release a merit list of selected students. As a final step, selected students need to pay the admission fee to confirm their seats.

AMU has a pre-defined set of eligiblity criteria for admission to the various BSc specialisations that it provides. The eligibility crietra vary across the specialisations. In general, a candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% in Class 12 with relevant Science subjects to be eligible for BSc admission at AMU. The relevant subjects may vary depending upon the choice of specialisation. Further, candidates must not be more than 24 years old as of July 01 in the year of admission.

At the PG level, Aligarh Muslim University provides a 2 years M.Sc. in Industrial Chemistry course to the students. To get admission to this course, aspiring students must meet the minimum eligibility requirements - 55.0% in graduation. This course offers admission to 25 students. 

The AMU MBBS application process is conducted online on the official website of the University. During the AMU MBBS application process, candidates need to fill out the personal details, academic details, contact details and NEET UG details.

Aligarh Muslim University offers a wide range of courses at the UG, PG and PhD levels. AMU courses are being offered under AMU's 13 faculties, including Agricultural Sciences, Arts, Commerce, Engineering & Technology and Law, among others. At the undergraduate level, the University offers BSc (Hons), BA (Hons), MBBS, BE/ BTech, BVA, BCom (Hons), BArch, BVoc and BSc Nursing, among others. At the postgraduate level, AMU offers MA, MSc, MBA, MCom, MTTM, MTech, MVoc, LLM, M.Lib.I.Sc, M.Ed and M.P.Ed, among others. AMU offers a two-year full-time MBA course at the postgraduate level. The University is currently accepting applications for its MBA courses, interested candidates must visit the official website of AMU to apply online. Aligarh Muslim University accepts AMU-CAT entrance tests for MBA admission. Aligarh Muslim University Common Admission Test (AMU-CAT) is conducted by the University. The date of the AMU entrance exam is yet to be released by Aligarh Muslim University. However, the AMU-CAT entrance test generally conducts in June every year.

Aligarh Muslim University offers a three-year full-time BSc course at the undergraduate level. Apart from the BSc course, the University also offers BSc (Hons) courses. AMU admission to the BSc course is based on candidates' performance in an entrance test conducted by the University. The total seat intake for the AMU BSc course is approximately 1260. The CUET result 2025 will be declared tentatively in last week of July 2025. All of those candidates who will appear for the exam can download their CUET Scorecard online after its release. The link to check the CUET result card will be updated on CUET exam results , and the candidates are supposed to log in to view the CUET 2025 scorecard online. The CUET scores are used for admission to various universities/colleges that the candidates had applied for while filling in the application form. Candidates are advised to download and take a printed copy of the CUET 2025 results when they are released.

STEP 1: Registration

Visit AMU's official website to register for counselling. The payment for admission may also be had to be paid on the same portal. 

STEP 2: Provisional Admission

After counselling, provisional admission shall be granted to the shortlisted candidates. 

STEP 3: Document Verification & Physical Reporting

After selection, candidates have to report physically at the university and submit a list of documents. Candidates must carry original documents.

AMUEEE is the entrance exam conducted to shortlist prospective candidates for BTech admission at Aligarh Muslim University. The exam is conducted once every year as a pen-and-paper-based test. For AMU BTech admissions 2025, AMUEEE is scheduled to be conducted on April 20, 2025. The application process for the same concluded in February 2025.

During 2022 placements, 181 out of 219 BA LLB students were placed. Earlier, 179 out of 219 students were placed during 2021 placements. For LLM, 10 out of 35 were placed during 2022 placements. In 2021, 7 out of 35 LLM students were placed.
