For undergraduate admission to courses, including BA (Hons), BVoc and BSc (Hons) through CUET-UG, candidates must have a valid CUET-UG score. For BA (Hons) admission, candidates must have to attempt the Domain/ General/ Languages sections of CUET while appearing for the entrance test along with the minimum eligibility criteria set by AMU. Final selection for most of the UG and PG courses via CUET is based on candidates' performance in the counselling round. Talking about the minimum eligibility requirement for AMU UG courses, candidates must have passed the Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Aligarh Muslim University BTech admission is based on AMUEEE. This process can only be conducted in online mode. Following the entrance exam, candidates must register for the AMUEEE counselling. Candidates who secure the cut-off ranks decided by the university for various counselling rounds will be allotted seats for BTech at the university.

The AMU application form for admission to BA LLB 2024 batch are not released yet. In 2023, the AMU Entrance exam forms were released in the month of feb and the entrance exam for admission to AMU BA LLB took place in March. 

Therefore, based on previous year's schedule, the AMU BA LLB application form are expected to release in the second week of Feb 2024. 

Aligarh Muslim University offers a three-year full-time BSc course at the undergraduate level. Apart from the BSc course, the University also offers BSc (Hons) courses. AMU admission to the BSc course is based on candidates' performance in an entrance test conducted by the University. The total seat intake for the AMU BSc course is approximately 1260. AMU offers MSc as a two-year postgraduate programme offered in the full-time mode. To be eligible to pursue MSc at AMU, candidates must have scored at least 55% in Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline. Hence, a candidate scoring less that 50% in their graduation degree is not eligible to apply for the programme. Such candidates can pursue MSc at some other college or university. The Aligarh Muslim University has not yet released the schedule for MBA admission 2024 but based on the last year's schedule the AMU MBA admission process is likely to begin in February.

During 2022 placements, 181 out of 219 BA LLB students were placed. Earlier, 179 out of 219 students were placed during 2021 placements. For LLM, 10 out of 35 were placed during 2022 placements. In 2021, 7 out of 35 LLM students were placed. STEP 1: Registration

Visit AMU's official website to register for counselling. The payment for admission may also be had to be paid on the same portal. 

STEP 2: Provisional Admission

After counselling, provisional admission shall be granted to the shortlisted candidates. 

STEP 3: Document Verification & Physical Reporting

After selection, candidates have to report physically at the university and submit a list of documents. Candidates must carry original documents.

AMU offers BTech in multiple sepcialisations. The total student intake for BTech at AMU is cumulative of the seats for various specialisations. The following table presents the total BTech seats available at AMU:

The AMU BSc in Biochemistry curriculum is designed in a way to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the chemical processes within living organisms. Spread over a duration of three years, which in total is six semesters. Each semester, students will get to learn certain core and Ability Enhancement Discipline Centric Courses. Some of the subjects included are Biomolecules, Microbiology & Virology, Enzymology, Biostatistics, etc.

AMU offers MDS across multiple specialisations, MDS course admissions are based on NEET MDS scores followed by the NEET MDS Counselling. The MCC is the conducting body of NEET MDS, which releases cutoff round-wise and category-wise. Tabulated below is the NEET MDS cutoff last round seat allotment for the General category All India students: 

The expected closing ranks for NEET MDS cutoff for AMU MDS R1 for OBC Category can be anticipated from the last three year cutoff ranges as mentioned below: 

• For MDS in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics it must range around 49
• For MDS0 in Periodontology it must range around 275
• For MDS in Paedodontics and Preventive Dentistry it must range around 198
• For MDS5 in Oral Medicine & Radiology it must range around 341

AMU accepts the NEET SS exam rank for admission to various courses. The first and the last round minimum closing rank for admission was 2082, for MCh in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Therefore, for admission to AMU, a candidate would need to secure AMU NEET SS rank of at least 2082 to have a chance at admission. 

For Aligarh Muslim University BTech admission, students are required to pass Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 50% in English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidates with a minimum aggregate of 50% in a Diploma in Engineering are also eligible for BTech admission at AMU. 

The highest package offered to the BA LLB batch in recent placements has not been released yet. However, the median package offered during 2022 placements is available in the NIRF report 2023. During 2022 placements, the median package for BA LLB stood at INR 12.30 LPA. Earlier, the median package offered during 2021 placements was INR 10.20 LPA. Aligarh Muslim University offers a full-time MBBS course at the postgraduate level for a duration of four and a half years along with a 1-year compulsory rotatory internship. To be eligible for AMU MBBS admission, candidates must secure 50 Percentile (for the general category). The cutoff marks for 2022 ranged between 715 and 117.
