Within the Central University of Jammu campus, there are multiple hostels available for students, with four hostels designated for boys and four for girls. These hostels cater to undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD students. PhD students are provided with single rooms, while others share rooms. 1. To be eligible, a candidate must have a bachelor's degree with at least 50% in the general category and 45% in the reserved category.

2. The Central University Entrance Test (CUET) PG exam results will determine admission.

3. Completing the application form, sending in all required information, and paying the application cost comprise the application procedure.

Candidates should have 55% (General category) aggregate marks in their Bachelors and 50% (for all reserved categories). Admissions to all the UG and PG courses are done based on merit as per the central University of Jammu,   guidelines. NO, you cannot get direct admission in Central University of Jammu for B.Tech. It no longer accepts admission through JEE mains. You are supposed to qualify through CUET (Common University Entrance Test) conducted by National Testing Agency. It is national level exams. By qualifing this exam and clearing the cutoff of CUJ you can get admission in B.Tech. 

Otherwise you should have completed a 3-year Diploma from a recognised Polytechnic or college in fields such as Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, IT, Electrical Engineering, or ICT. Your Diploma marks should be at least 60%  (or 55% if you belong to the SC/ST category). The university conducts an entrance examination for lateral entry admissions.
