Anna University has large facilities available for its UG/PG students.

Hostel: Anna University provides hostel facilities with basic amenities such as a mess, TV, common room, water purifiers, laundry service, security and surveillance systems, etc. The university provides both girls' and boys' hostels.

Sports: Anna University and its constituent colleges provide a large open playground, athletic tracks, courts and arenas, a gymnasium, and a swimming pool to freshen up the students from their busy academic schedule.

Q:   What is the validity of TANCET scores?
A: 

TANCET is the entrance exam for Tamil Nadu University. It is the entrance test to give admission to student to secure their seats in PG Course. Anna university conducts exam on state-level. The ubniversity give admission to various courses such as MBA/ MCA/ M.Tech/ M.E/ M. Plan. The validity of the scores of the TANCET is one year which means that candidates can secure their seats after the release of results. For instance, if the result is relased on july, then candidates have validity till june that is candidates can secure their admission, in one year. 

Q:   What is the schedule for TANCET Counselling?
A: 

TANCET counselling is conducted around a month after the scorecard download window is closed. TANCET counselling is held in multiple rounds, including publication of rank list, general counselling for MBA and MCA, supplementary counselling for bith MBA and MCA.

Every year Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai invites application from eligible Degree holders for admission to MBA/ MCA courses offered in Government, Government Aided Engineering and Arts and Science Colleges, University Departments of Anna University/ Regional Centres, Annamalai University.

Dr. N.G.P.I.T has the best resources in terms of faculty members and student hostels.
Placements: Advanced AI roles and other roles were offered to students who pursued AI at Dr. NGPIT. I graduated this year and saw some of the best placements that the college has ever offered. From Infosys, TCS, Amazon, and Microsoft, many such firms came for placements. Most students were placed in these companies' Chennai offices.
Infrastructure: There were five blocks, A to E. A Block was where our classes were held. The girls' hostel was off campus but just a 5-minute walk from the campus. Good food and good rooms were the best features of our hostels. The 6 PM curfew was the only issue. Otherwise, the college infrastructure and hostel facilities at Dr. NGPIT were all top-class.
Faculty: Most, or rather over 90%, of faculty members were from the home state, and thus the language issue never became a challenge. We could ask them questions in the local language, and because they were familiar with the language, they would reply accordingly. Exams here were really tough, as there were multiple exams per semester.
Other: Flash Mob and Kanam were the two main events of our college.

Solid choice for engineering in the Coimbatore region.
Placements: I am studying Biomedical Engineering at this college. The college itself is not that bad. But they have strong placement records. The top courses are CSE, AI, and this. The top package is about 12 LPA, and some top companies recruit at this college.
Infrastructure: The college hostel is the weirdest thing in this college. I mean, the food is very bad. There is not much cleanliness. The water supply is not good. The rooms are small, with poor furnishing. No outside food is available, and there is no canteen. There is only one vending machine for the whole hostel.
Faculty: If you study just enough, you can pass the exams. The exams are not that hard. This college is an autonomous college. The syllabus is easy to understand. Teachers are friendly. They are well-educated and very helpful. The HOD is a bit strict.
Other: As personal advice, take a PG hostel or rent a room if you join this college.

A short review of a minority-based college.
Placements: Many companies are startups, while some are well-recognized companies as well. The highest package is 5 LPA. Many students also don't attend the placement process. The average package is around 2-3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are KaarTech, Infosys, Cognizant, etc.
Infrastructure: The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The food quality is good. It is a good institution with facilities for various sports. It also has a basic canteen facility. The college does not offer many cultural events or highly entertaining activities. These things are decent but better than most recognized colleges in the city.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified. The curriculum is relevant and industry-oriented. The passing percentage is quite high compared to other colleges. The institution also offers internship opportunities to students while studying. The syllabus is innovative and gives importance to practical knowledge.
Other: I chose this college because of the merit scholarship it offers. Its location is in an important part of the IT corridor.

Placements: Almost 65 percent of students got placed in our branch. The highest salary is 8 LPA. The lowest salary is 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Wipro and Amazon. The top roles are marketing manager and sales manager. Around 60 percent of students got internship in top companies.
Infrastructure: The college's infrastructure is very advanced. The college building is good. The classrooms are neat, with comfortable benches. We have good labs and a library. The Wi-Fi is available. The hostel facilities are good. We have a good playground also. The canteen food is good.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified and knowledgeable professors in our college. They have a lot of experience in their respective subject. Their teaching quality is good. They are very friendly. The course curriculum is superb. The semester exams are difficult to pass. The pass percentage is 60 percent.
