Annamalai University Distance Education offers admission to candidates based on their merit. Candidates can get a seat directly through Spot Admission. Annamalai University admissions are conducted based on merit and entrance which may differ as per the course opted for. Similarly, candidates pursuing for PG level programme must  secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in graduation. Additionally, candidates require to pursue either of the class from Class 8 to Class 12 along with a 'Nativity Certificate' to be eligible for admission at Annamalai University. Furthermore, candidates must secure valid scores in suggested entrance exams such as NEET UG/ PG, IMUCET, TANCET, CEETA etc.
